Audi shows the way for electric motoring
Proving that all-electric and high-performance can be an electrifying combination, Audi revealed the Audi e-tron Sportback Concept at Auto Shanghai 2017 in April. Shown in a striking Lux Silver exterior finish, the Audi e-tron Sportback Concept exemplifies Gran Turismo motoring in its four-door coupé body shape. Featuring a superb catalogue of Audi innovation and architecture that can only be described as electrifying, the e-tron Sportback Concept is set to revolutionise UK motoring.
Digitally controlled, the matrix LED lighting technology gives a clue from both the rear and front view as to the innovative character of the Audi e-tron Sportback Concept. As soon as you get inside, you’ll notice the clean, bright environment, where the use of buttons and switches has been minimised and replaced with a series of touch-sensitive screens to allow access to all the e-tron’s infotainment and more. The e-tron Sportback won’t disappoint when it comes to performance either, thanks to the quattro drive supported by the electric motor on the front axle and the two electric motors on the rear axle. Zero to 62mph will be achieved in an exciting 4.5 seconds with virtually instant access to the 320kW of power. What’s more the Audi e-tron Sportback Concept will come with an anticipated range of 310 miles.
