Forget three lions, this weekend is all about the four rings on our shirts.
On Sunday 1st July, Essex Audi and M25 Audi will be joining forces in a bid to be crowned Dragon Boat Champions 2018 and we want you to get behind us and show your support to help beat blood cancer.
Join us at Backnang Square, Chelmsford between 10am-4pm for a day of children's entertainment, live music and lots of charitable fun, and where Team Audi will be attempting to stay dry, afloat and rowing to the max.
The event is organised by The Tim Reeve Charitable Trust, an Essex-based charity in conjunction with Bloodwise which funds world-class research into all types of blood cancer as well as supporting those affected. The tournament will feature 32 teams from local businesses and organisations who will compete in three races each in order to qualify for the grand final later in the day.
To add to the festivities, the event is themed around the World Cup and each team is asked to adopt a competing country to inform their fancy dress on the day. Essex and M25 Audi have selected the Audi mother-nation Germany, so we will be waving the german flags, donning our lederhosen and hoping that our German-marque performance extends beyond our vehicles.
You can find out more information about the event at Essex Dragon Boat Race or if you would like to support Bloodwise and make a dontation please follow the link below.
Germany may have made its exit from the Football Word Cup 2018 but there is still a chance for Team Audi this weekend. We hope to see you cheering us on!
