whilst I only rate the visit as 4 stars that is Group 1's fault. The service received from Joe the customer service representative was outstanding he alone is a 5+ all day long.
Group 1 are in my eyes not fit to run any form of car dealership.

Very disappointing experience from start to finish. The service team were degrading towards my partner, which was completely unacceptable. During the service, our car charging cable was removed from the boot after we were told it wasn’t needed for updates. The cable still has not been returned, and its took multiple phone calls over 4–5 days to resolve, despite being repeatedly told we would be contacted — which never happened. After dropping the vehicle off, no one contacted us to confirm when it was ready. I had to call at the end of the following day just to find out if the work had been completed. I was also charged for a screen wash top-up even though the screen wash was already full on arrival. Customer service throughout was extremely poor. We were offered a complimentary wash and vacuum, but this was not even carried out to a good standard. In addition, after the service and MOT, we were not clearly informed of what repairs were required. I have paid for a premium major service and MOT at nearly double the price of a local garage, yet the service received was far from a premium. Overall, this was the worst customer service experience I’ve had at a garage and i will not be returning. I will not be returning for any future work and would not recommend this garage.

took 90 minutes from arrival to confirm the hire car had not been booked/requested. Offered a further wait of 3hrs for a hire car to be made available. This the second time in 4 weeks that service and communication levels have been unacceptable. Whilst waiting in reception from 9.30am to 3.00pm most of the overheard conversations between customers and service staff were to express dissatisfaction with their service/experience, staff were courteous but to keep saying we are very busy is not an answer when you have full control of your workload. Hoping that a change to Marshalls will improve things.....

Sharon in service has been brilliant and I imagine she has one of the hardest jobs ever dealing with unhappy customers.
I do however think the dealership needs to improve the answering of calls or at least invest in a system that can handle the call flow better, maybe a que system or an auto call back.
I would also like to say all the staff are always polite and very helpful.
