I had called service department on Derby road, Nottingham to arrange work to be done beyond the normal service, for a broken light module. Despite confirming that work can be carried out by calling them thrice (only getting through 3rd time to service in the day before despite them saying I will get a confirmation call from parts and no one answering from parts department when I tried several times), there seems to be no notes for the team through several channels to indicate the issue and yet they were completely naïve to this on the day. Furthermore, updating customer of the other issues about 1 hour before closing time and no time to fix the issues was really unhelpful (receiving vehicle health video a day later!), this is just common sense and something that should have been monitored by the manager. On top of it, they have a very flawed payment link system through email which after confirming payment through my bank app, the system fails to show confirmation, yet money has gone to them. But as it was not showing on their system, on collection of car after my 2nd visit (3 days later), I had to pay again through credit card a 2nd time. After showing proofs and a lot of to and fro emails since, I got my money back 3 days later, making me very anxious and completely dissatisfied for a very expensive work. I didn't even get a formal apology from the manager despite venting my frustration to the service advisor (who was being very helpful within her limits). This branch really needs looking into as it has lost my confidence with 2 consecutive experiences. I would avoid unless they sort themselves out.

Work on my car was completed as specified and in a timely manner. The staff member assisting me was very friendly, helpful and professional. The showroom facilities were good with staff offering refreshments.
My negative comment and complaint concerns the lack of parking facilities at that time which due to the layout of the site and access routes to the car parks led to chaos at the time I arrived. I was informed that there had just been a delivery of new cars. Whatever the reason, the difficulty myself and others were experiencing was highly stressful and needs to be dealt with.

I attended my original servicing appointment on time, and was scheduled for a sit in appoinement. The service was sheduled for 12pm, and by 2:30pm, no work had been done, my car had not been moved at all, and I had to inform the staff that I was unable to stay any longer as I had work to attend to, and had to be rescheduled for another service appointment.
I attend the 2nd appointment on time, and there is nowhere to leave my vehicle, I am told to leave my car outside on the street and someone will go and find it, which felt incredibly unprofessional. The appointment was scheduled to begin at 11:30am, and despite my car having no issues or faults, the appointment was not complete until 3pm. As a self employed person, losing this many hours for a simple car servicing with no faults is just not reasonable, its poor service and management. I dont even think the car had a full service. Regardless, whether it's because there arent enough staff, the garage is over booked or poor time management within the dealership, it is not appropriate. As this has been a recurring issue, when my hire agreement ends shortly, I will be returning my vehicle and not getting another Toyota, as the local competition provides faster and more efficient services.
I hope my feedback contributes to the improvement of standards within Toyota Nottingham, and that one day I can return to my favourite car brand.
