Poor customer service, staff took ages to do simple task. When I collected my car I had to ask for a reciept and that caused confusion, getting your car keys took 15mins. When I recieved my car there was an issue which took forever to report. There was no managers on the floor the hold place was a conplete disappointing look as I will need to change my carbl but the service level and experience was shocking.

It took too long for the work to be sorted with poor communication. The work area on the car was not cleaned and no paperwork has been handed to us or what work was done and why communicated. We are not happy and don't feel confident in the work done or that talking to someone in VW will help us - we'd like to be proved wrong on this though.

Using my husbands account as I don’t have account, Iv used VW Manchester for many years always get the best 1st class service from all staff nothing is too much trouble. Yes we are buying the cars but they really are so lovely and helpful and it’s not a front or a show they really do go above and beyond to help you because they want to. Hamid is the man he will do his best for you no matter what even if you can’t make up your mind or change it 100 times he’s very patient and will always give you the best price he can within his power, genuine person. I don’t normally do reviews as always feels like that’s all the company wants from you, but I really did have to review VW Manchester as they really are for the customers really do go above and beyond. Big shout out to Rick who always has a smile on his face, always running around the place never stops working hard. Rick works around your schedule no matter what I work for the NHS and my shifts are rough but Rick really does work for you! nothing is ever too much trouble for him he will really go above and beyond for you. Just wanted to give credit where credit is due, if you go here please please ask for these guys! 10/10 service all round. Thank you Mrs M Tomlinson

If you want to buy a car, you get pestered (hard sell). But have an issue, nobody is interested and you can call but nobody in the relevant department answers. Oh the sales managers are quick to answer.... very disappointed 😞

I would like to provide feedback regarding my recent order with Volkswagen through Motability. Unfortunately, my experience at the dealership was disappointing and fell below the level of service I expected.
The staff did not appear confident or knowledgeable about the vehicle and were unable to clearly explain features or answer questions without repeatedly checking the system. While it is understandable that not every piece of information may be known immediately, product knowledge and the ability to guide customers is essential — especially when dealing with Motability users who may require additional clarity and reassurance. I felt this was lacking.
I also did not feel that courtesy or customer care were prioritised. The approach felt passive, as though it was assumed I already knew what I wanted, rather than being actively supported or advised throughout the process. In the end, I proceeded with the order based on my own independent research into the vehicle, as the only assistance I received was a payment link. This does not reflect the level of service I would expect for Motability customers.
Overall, the experience did not demonstrate the professionalism or customer support expected from a dealership representing both Volkswagen and Motability. I hope this feedback is taken constructively, as improvements in product knowledge, communication and customer engagement would greatly enhance the experience for future Motability customers.

An absolute shambles of a dealership with completely incompetent management. We dropped our vehicle off for a VW-certified diagnostic report, which was required for further work. The booking was made over the phone with a staff member named Jake, who confirmed the appointment and told us to have the car delivered. As the vehicle would not start, it was transported to them on a recovery truck at our own expense. We were clearly told that the diagnostic would be carried out on the day of the booking. After dropping the vehicle off, we heard nothing for over two weeks. Despite calling daily, our calls were repeatedly ignored. When we finally managed to get through, the receptionist casually informed us that Jake had been fired, with no explanation or apology for the complete lack of communication. During earlier conversations, Jake initially quoted £2,000 for a battery replacement. He later phoned my mother and spoke to her extremely rudely, suddenly changing the quote to £13,000, stating bluntly that “this is the cost—if you don’t want to pay, we can’t help you.” This figure was completely fabricated. We later confirmed with VW themselves that this service does not cost anywhere near that amount. It is clear this individual attempted to mislead and potentially scam us. After being told he was fired, management finally “looked into it” and then admitted something unbelievable: they do not even have the facilities to carry out the diagnostics they booked the car in for. This is a dealership that cannot perform a basic diagnostic—yet still accepted the booking and our vehicle. As a result of their incompetence, we are now £400 out of pocket for transportation costs and had to hire another vehicle, as we were originally told the work would take two days, not over two weeks of silence and excuses. This place shows zero professionalism, zero accountability, and zero respect for customers. Most of the staff we dealt with were rude and dismissive, and management clearly has no control over their own operations. Avoid this dealership at all costs unless you want your time wasted, money lost, and stress increased. An absolute joke of a dealership
