KIA service intervals

To keep your KIA at its top performance you need to regularly service it throughout your ownership. You need to keep on top of consistently servicing your car to ensure that it’s running at maximum efficiency. Your KIA undergoes different safety checks to make sure that it’s a safe environment for everyone in the car. Keeping your service log book updated can help to maintain the resale value of your car too.

Less than 10,000 miles a year - every 12 months
We recommend that your KIA car is serviced every 12 months or every 9,000 miles if you regularly go on shorter journeys. This is due to frequent shorter trips creating more strain on your engine due to constant stopping and starting, meaning you’ll need more regular checks and maintenance.

More than 10,000 miles a year  - every two years
If you tend to go on longer journeys in your car on the motorway or dual carriageways, we recommend that you get your KIA serviced less frequently. You should get your car checked every two years or every 10,000 miles if you go on longer drives. Also, keep an eye on your tyres to ensure that the tread doesn’t go below the legal limit.
