MINI X Dogs - A Dogs Trust Partnership.

You might’ve worked out that here at MINI we’re paw-sitively passionate about pooches. Which is why we’re on a mission to help the nation’s dogs travel happier. So, we’ve teamed up with the incredible dog welfare charity, Dogs Trust, to get that mission on the move.

• What exciting updates can we expect?

  We’re working in partnership with Dogs Trust on a mission to help the nations dogs feel calm and confident when they’re travelling. During our exciting partnership, with the help of Dogs Trust, MINI aim to make each of our showrooms dog friendly and allow your four-legged friends to experience pawsome test-drives, along with educating the nations dogs owners on how to help their dogs travel happily and comfortably.

  During lockdown of 2020, the UK saw a great surge in homes welcoming a new four-legged companion. As such, the UK dog population grew from 9 million to 12.5 million. With this huge increase in dog ownership, there will be a great increase in the number of dogs being transported on the roads - which includes drivers who will be travelling with their dogs in their cars for the very first time. 

  We're working with Dogs Trust to to ensure dog owners have the tools to educate themselves on dog safety and can purchase the necessary accessories to ensure safe travel. On top of that we aim to make each of our MINI dealerships dog friendly and ensure that MINI staff are trained to appropriately welcome dogs into our retail spaces.
