Beadles ŠKODA Southend proudly supports the AJ Women's Tour 2021

On the 7th October, Beadles ŠKODA Southend had the privilege of supporting stage four of the AJ Bell’s Women’s Tour, which was held in our hometown of Southend-on-Sea.

The Women’s Tour is comprised of a 6-stage course carried out over 6 days, with twelve of the world’s top 15 teams taking part, including all nine of the top division UCI Women’s WorldTour squads. Stage four of the race saw riders set off from East Beach, Shoeburyness, before heading out into the rural roads of Essex for a 117.8km circular route, which culminated in the final sprint along the seafront to the finish line in Westcliff.

The Beadles ŠKODA Southend team were on hand to support the SKODA UK Tour event team in the race village, speaking to members of the public and cyclists about our fantastic model line-up, which includes the all-new fully electric ENYAQ iV.

Our Head of Business, Trevor Owen, even had the pleasure of presenting awards at the podium to Elisa Chabbey who won the ŠKODA Queen of the Mountains hill climb at Hambro Hill, and Nina Kessler who came first in the Eisberg Sprint race through Burnham-on-Crouch. We would also like to congratulate the stage four winner, Lorena Wiebes, who put on a spectacular display at the finish line along Southend seafront.

If you missed the race or the awards presentations, you can watch the highlights on ITV Hub. Or if you would like to find out more about ŠKODA cycling events or our ŠKODA model range, please speak to the team at Beadles ŠKODA Southend.
