Auris to be Renamed Corolla

• Toyota have announced today that they will be dropping the 'Auris' name and replacing it with an old favourite - 'Corolla'. This version will also have two hybrid models but the decision has been made to have no diesel model. WhatCar? have contributed this decision to a "falling demand" in diesel and "41% of the Toyotas purchased in Europe in 2017 were hybirds". 

  Whilst Brexit opened up a lot of questions regards the location of Toyota's production it has been confirmed this model will be built in the Derbyshire factory. The new Corolla will have a more dramatic look which will be achieved by having a longer, lower platform.
