New Volkswagen Up! R-Line revealed
There is a new styling kit for regular versions of the up! that give a bit of a GTI appeal, but unfortunately it wont be an option for buyers in the UK.

The new R-Line version of the Volkswagen UP! has finally arrived, joining the 113bhp GTI variant at the sportier end of the city car's line-up.
This is offered as an exterior package and will cost up! buyers 795 (£707 approx). There are currently no plans to bring this package to the UK.
Unlike the up! GTI that offers extra power, the up! R-Line is instead a sportier looking version of the regular up! which includes a new bodykit and alloy wheels.

The up! R-Line has been tweaked to look more everyday like the rival, Toyota Aygo, with an angular, sporty looking front bumper complete with a chrome trim on the fog light housings, similar in look to the one equipped on the GTI.
Similarly, the rear bumper also appears to have been inspired by the GTI version of the city car, with a more pronounced diffuser style section housing a singular exhaust exit.
Elsewhere, the up! R-Line gains side sills which are the same colour as the body, a silver strip in the radiator grille, plenty of R-Line badging, tinted rear side window and rear window, a black roof and black mirror caps and a new set of alloy wheels.
As standard, the R-Line comes with 16-inch wheels, but there is an option to upgrade to 17-inch wheels which are also available in black.
