Group 1 Assured Southend

The show room was exceptionally well presented. We were supported in the sale by Jason, who communicated clearly and guided us through the process of purchasing a used car. Jason was accessible and made sure we were aware of his availability. He appropriately informed us of finance options, warranty extension and gap insurance, none of which were applicable to our circumstance, but he completed his duty in this regard. He was able to answer questions and where further information was required, he went out of his way to find this information. We noted that there was damage to a fan in the back of the vehicle and this was fixed quickly before purchase. The only 'negative' point I would raise is in relation to cleaning / valeting of the vehicle. We appreciate the vehicle was purchased quite quickly and that the first test drive was before the car had been cleaned. However, since collecting we have found wrappers, tissues, little bags even half-full sweet packets down the side of chairs, in chair pockets etc., indicating that the vehicle had not been thoroughly cleaned. However, mechanically the vehicle; so far, appears to be very good and the price of the vehicle was well matched to other options. I think I would like to add that we were more keen to buy from a dealer such as yourselves as there is a good level of professionalism and an air of confidence that the vehicles are of a good standard. This was certainly notable in comparison to other dealerships we visited (your competitors) where with all bar one exception, we did not have the same confidence. The test drive, presentation, professionalism and general standard of the vehicle gave us confidence that buying a used car was the right vehicle for us.

I'd recommend Group 1 Assured Southend to anyone because Oscar was great throughout the whole process to ensure the car was perfect for me and had all of the necessary work completed to the car so I could take it away with peace of mind. He phoned me when possible with updates and I would highly recommend him to friends and family!

Group 1 Assured Southend were helpful because the car i wanted was available and was presented on handover in excellent condition. I was given a very fair part exchange deal for my Skoda Roomster. No complaints with the salesman, but he was sent out on a delivery on the day I may have been able to pick the car up and I was left guessing-could have been handled better. Apart from that I am, very happy with the service

The experience at Group 1 Assured Southend was great especially from Jason Saunders. From start to finish he did a great job. I had never heard of Group 1 prior to coming across the car advert on autotrader and live a long way away from Southend so the deal was done phone. He did a great job answering all the questions I had and prepared the car to a good standard. I was not disappointed when I finally went to collect it. Will definitely contact Group 1 if and when I am looking for a new car in the future
