Toyota Returns to the British Touring Car
32 Years after a Corolla GT Coupe won consecutive championships and competed through to the 90s, Toyota has returned with the All New Corolla. The powerful new model is to return to the Kwik Fit sponsored British Touring Car Championship (BTCC) this year driven by two-time BTCC independent champion Tom Ingram.

The Corolla will be taking to the track at Brands Hatch for the opening round of the season at the same time that the road model Corolla arrives in showrooms this Spring.
Team Toyota GB with Speedworks Motorsport team principal Christian Dick said: “We have been establishing an ever-closer relationship with Toyota GB for the past few years, nurturing that bond through our common passion for motorsport, engineering excellence and, ultimately, success. Our new relationship with them will enable us to take that final step and really push for the overall BTCC title.”
