My experience at Audi Approved Colchester was mostly positive because due to the various issues I came across when purchasing my vehicle, including waiting over 4 months to obtain the log book, the staff were friendly and helpful. I was kept updated throughout the purchases process and guided in what was needed of me when contacting the DVLA to obtain the car's log book. Although I appreciated the efforts of all the staff involved, I was disappointed in the time it took for me to take the car home from the first time I put a £500 deposit on the vehicle. The garage appeared to have bought the car back from the previous owner without the log book for it. They had only held £200 or so back from the sale to ensure that the previous owner applied for a new log book, before the sale could be completed. This then took a further 4 months to resolve. This became increasingly difficult for me as I could not hold the sale of my then current car back from a buyer any longer, and had sold it. Thus leaving me without a car to get around in and having to rely on family and friends to take me to and from work. Throughout this time I believe I was more than patient in waiting for this car and asked if a curtesy car would be an option for me to have whilst I continued to wait. We were told by the salesman that the garage did not have any cars available and that this was not an option. It wasn't until we asked to speak to a manager of the garage that a curtsey car was agreed! Finally, when the log book had arrived in my name and the car was ready for collection, I unfortunately felt quite rushed to sign all of the paperwork and pay by the salesman. It almost felt as if the salesman/company were just happy to get the car out of the garage and out of their hands! Despite the lengthy and stressful purchase process, Audi were very accommodating in making a few tweaks to the vehicle that I had requested. I had asked to add a navigation system to the car and upon reviewing it, I pointed out that there was quite a big chip in the windscreen and also a few paint chips. The garage were more than happy to replace the screen for free, repair and repaint the chips in the paintwork and due to the length I was made to wait to complete the purchase, they also put the navigation system in the car free of charge. Overall, I was satisfied with my experience with Audi Approved Colchester and would return to potentially purchase another vehicle in the future. I appreciate all of the efforts of the staff that were involved in helping me complete my purchase and would also continue to recommend Audi Approved Colchester to my friends and family.
