Audi Q8 TFSI e Plug in Hybrid
The Audi Q8 is now available as a plug in hybrid which uses a turbocharged 3.0 V6 petrol with a 100kW electric motor. There are two power outputs to choose from; the 55 TFSI and 60 TFSI. Both models feature quattro all wheel drive and an 8 speed automatic gearbox. The 55 features 376bhp which allows 0-62mph in 5.8 seconds. The 60 features 456bhp which reduces the 0-62mph time to 5.4 seconds.
The Q8 TFSI-e can be driven on electric power alone for up to 28 miles. On longer drives, the Q8 can use navigation data to plan when to use electric or combustion power to ensure maximum performance and efficiency.
