The Soul EV has received a makeover as the front end is restyled to include a plastic insert in the grille space, which opens up to reveal the twin charging sockets. The rear bumper and tailgate have been restyled and LED rear lights have been added. Front and rear fog lights keep you visible in low-light conditions. Striking 16-inch alloy wheels help to reduce any potential air resistance, in turn extending the driving range.
The Kia Soul EV's dash has an all-new design and has been built using high-quality materials. The new EV gets OLED digital instruments, a large centre touch screen, a rather shapely steering wheel and a new shift lever. The 3.5-inch OLED trip computer displays all the vital information, including speed, distance covered and how much charge you have left. The driver’s footrest lets you relax whilst keeping your foot near the pedals.
An 8-inch touchscreen satellite navigation system with European mapping and traffic messaging channel (TMC) and charging point locator will ensure every journey is stress-free and convenient. The engine starts with one touch of the start/stop button, adding a sporty feel. Dual-zone climate control and heated seats keep you feeling comfortable. There is also Kia's 8.0in touchscreen infotainment system fitted as standard with dedicated EV monitoring, parking camera, DAB radio, and USB and Bluetooth connectivity.
Charging your car has never been easier. The charging port features two options, a standard AC port and a DC port for quick charging. Charge level is indicated on the dashboard, letting you see it from outside the car if necessary. The charging cables can be conveniently stored underneath the luggage compartment, freeing up more space for you. For a truly efficient drive, regenerative braking gives you charge when coming to a stop.
