The A8 TFSI e

The advanced Audi A8 TFSI e blends high-end executive luxury with an efficient plug-in hybrid powertrain. Visually matching the elegant design of the standard saloon, it features a wide Singleframe grille, a premium chrome exterior package, and bespoke 19-inch 5-arm turbine alloy wheels. A high-voltage charging interface is cleanly integrated into the rear wing panel, supporting up to 7.4 kW AC input. This allows the onboard lithium-ion battery pack to recharge fully in two and a half hours, delivering a zero-emission electric range of up to 36 miles.

The interior of the A8 TFSI e prioritises supreme passenger comfort whilst introducing smart electrified luxury features. Because it uses a 14.4 kWh net battery network, drivers can effortlessly set remote pre-conditioning through the myAudi smartphone app to heat or cool the cabin before entering. Heated Valcona leather comfort contour seats feature pneumatic bolsters, framed by customisable 30-colour ambient lighting. Despite the hybrid powertrain packaging under the floor, the saloon comfortably accommodates five adult passengers and provides a practical 390-litre independent luggage boot space.

Powering the A8 TFSI e is a potent 3.0-litre TFSI V6 engine paired with an electric motor, generating a combined 462 PS. The 12.3-inch Audi Virtual Cockpit displays unique hybrid menus, allowing drivers to select between EV, Hybrid, Hold, and Charge profiles. To maximise efficiency, the vehicle applies predictive energy recuperation during deceleration. Standard driver aids include adaptive cruise control and predictive active air suspension, which regulates the dampers on all four wheels to smooth out tarmac imperfections seamlessly.
