Terrible customer service. The rude salesperson couldn’t care less. He didn’t even pretend to care! I was called the evening before a test drive that I had booked 8 days earlier. Without any real apologies, the guy just said I had to move the appointment 2 hours later, or cancel it. I arrived at the time he suggested, but the same guy kept me waiting for half an hour. When I raised my concern, he told me “to calm down” in a most patronising way while he was holding his hand to my face. The test drive itself was no more than 5 minutes, with ZERO explanation about the car. After returning to the shop, he only said that “if you have any questions, you can go to our website”!

Dreadful customer service. Emails unanswered so eventually got through after 25 minutes on hold. Was promised a call back but still waiting so now I will need to visit the showroom to get what i need in person. All the staff members who were dealing with my vehicle have apparently left the business. Perhaps BMW treat their staff like their customers...

**DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE** Horrible experience! Car was taken in for 1 issue and they ended up washing it even after I said very clearly online and in person not to! They ended up scratching up my whole car! When I complained they lied and said a solution was offered and I refused it! Clearly lying, no solution was offered and they offered no help. My car is now covered in scratches!! This place should be shutdown for scamming all clients! Awful experience

Very disappointing experience with the Head of Business, Rob Graham. Whilst dealing with a customer complaint, he described my legitimate attempts to obtain clarification as “bombarding” BMW with emails. I found this language unprofessional, dismissive and entirely inappropriate for someone in a senior customer-facing role. I subsequently raised a formal complaint about his communication. Despite being repeatedly assured by BMW Customer Services that Rob would contact me directly within two working days, he never did. BMW later claimed he had apologised, yet I received no email, phone call or any direct apology whatsoever. As an eight-year BMW customer, I expected far greater professionalism, accountability and respect from senior management. A simple, direct apology would have resolved the matter immediately.

Up date on my below review. It’s fair to say I don’t get my cars serviced at Barons any more as the overall service experience dropped substantially. I won’t go into details but after looking at the reviews on here I found Sytner BMW at Stevenage and what a breath of fresh air they are! Treatment you expect from a main dealer approved garage. Had my brakes serviced at Barron’s. Online check in on arrival easy process to drop the keys off. I was contacted regularly during the day with the progress of work and the work was completed at time specified. Only criticism is they said the car would be cleaned and it wasn’t. When you use a main dealer you expect a little bit more and the lack of valeting let them down.
