ELECTRIC CAR GRANT NOW AVAILABLE
The government announced on 15 July 2025 a new Electric Car Grant scheme offering discounts for UK buyers of some battery electric vehicles. To qualify for the grant, models have to meet certain criteria relating to pricing and environmental issues among others.
A number of CUPRA Born cars have met the 'Band 2' criteria, allowing you to enjoy a £1,500 saving* on a wide range of CUPRA’s award-winning cars.

- CUPRA Born V1
- CUPRA Born V2
- CUPRA Born V3
The £1,500 discount* will be automatically applied by Group 1 CUPRA at the point of order. So you don’t need to do anything: except enjoy making the switch into electric at an even more attractive price.

Terms and Conditions
The Electric Car Grant is a UK Government grant to promote the purchase of certain new electric vehicles. Selected CUPRA Born models are currently pending eligibility approval for this scheme. If these vehicles are approved and included in the scheme, then customers purchasing a qualifying vehicle will receive £1,500 off the purchase price through the Government grant. If the vehicles do not become eligible for the Electric Car Grant, then CUPRA UK will ensure – through the "CUPRA UK Grant Guarantee" – that qualifying customers purchasing selected CUPRA Born models will receive an equivalent discount of £1,500.
The saving of £1,500 will be automatically applied to the on-the-road price on the retail invoice for your vehicle.
* The Electric Car Grant is a UK Government grant to promote the purchase of certain new electric vehicles. The grant is not exclusive to Volkswagen Group United Kingdom Limited. Selected CUPRA Born models are eligible for this Grant within Band 2, meaning eligible customers purchasing a qualifying vehicle will receive £1,500 off the purchase price. The grant is available when purchasing CUPRA Born V1, V2 or V3 models. The £1,500 will be automatically deducted from the purchase price for your vehicle on the retail invoice. Any discount or offer will be applied before application of the grant. Your authorised CUPRA Retailer will submit the details of your order in order to claim the grant funding. The grant is subject to full T&Cs and eligibility requirements and may be replaced, withdrawn or amended by the UK Government at any time.
