Lack of care for customers after sale. I purchased an Audi A3 from them after seeing the advert online. Read the description looked amazing and priced reasonably. Visited and was guided through the buying process and the sales person was amazing and provided great hospitality. However this was short lived. After just 5 days rust started coming through the paint work on the rear driver side (which is getting worse by the day). I thought it’ll be an easy fix and the dealership should repair this. I got in touch 5 days after purchase to be told they can’t do anything. Only once I explained I have contacted Audi they requested to see it on week 3. I brought it up taking time from work and driving 45 minutes and waiting another 45 to be told they’ll be in touch. I thought fantastic a result, shame on me again as I was emailed by the sales rep to confirm their sub contractors can’t do anything. They then reverted back to their initial saying they can’t do anything to help me. I’m now paying for a vehicle I’m unhappy with and have had zero support from Group 1 Auto. I’m not on week 7 with no resolution and my only transport the A3. I’d love to have purchased more as the Audi is a great vehicle but not great enough when after care is so poor and disregarding.

I would strongly caution anyone considering this dealership. Purchased an approved Used Audi that broke down a month after purchase. I was advised by my local Audi dealer that the car had been PERFORMANCE REMAPPED before my purchase, and that my approved used warranty was completely invalid. It had not been checked prior to sale. I was offered a service plan, a two year warranty, and delivery/collection of the vehicle in the event of future breakdowns. After THREE breakdowns in 6 months, I requested a return of the vehicle. This was categorically rejected. Cheshire Oaks then refused to return my vehicle to me (making for a 6 hour collection trip), but confirmed I did have a service plan. This was a blatant lie. I checked with Audi head office who confirmed no service plan was ever created for the vehicle, and despite providing clear evidence (e-mails confirming the plan was set up) the dealer blamed "confusion" of the sales person who conveniently has left the business. There was absolutely no confusion in the emails which remain clear and concise. Formal complaints to Audi head office were fruitless- actively telling me they have "no power over the dealers", and "the dealer has the final say", which is nothing short of insanity. I'm now pursuing my shocking treatment with the Motor Ombudsman. Please be very careful if purchasing your car from Cheshire Oaks Audi. If you decide to take the chance, finance your vehicle (independently) so your finance company can get involved and hold payments should you ever be blessed with contacting their aftersales team.

Made an appointment with Tamara to upgrade car. Told her out budget and come back with a car over double what we said our budget was. Very pushy on electric cars and wanting you to get a car that's nearly £1000 a month. Dreadful experience and will never be returning.
