Thomas Ward helped us, he was great everything I would expect from a sales executive. He asked our needs and wants and was open and honest throughout the whole process. When there wasn’t an on site model of the car we were thinking of he managed to dig one out for us, which turned out to be the car we bought. He wanted us to leave happy and did everything possible to make sure that happened. After being an Audi Macclesfield customer for over 10yr purchasing many cars from them and coming into contact with lots of sales executives Thomas has to be by far the best sales guy we’ve met. He went through everything in detail with me on handover, controls in the car to the app. Which I did already have but never really got explained what it can be used for on my previous car, then to the follow up call to make sure everything was ok and answered any further questions I had. Thanks again Thomas well certainly be back in the future.

We acquired a brand new Audi A3 S-Line a few months ago. Warning lights started to appear within the first 1,000 miles. We called our nearest dealership Macclesfield who offered us an appointment about 6 weeks away, as this was the only time a courtesy car was available. This was crazy, especially when warning lights indicated certain safety systems were not functioning. On the day, whilst travelling to the dealership for the 10 am appointment, we received a call advising that due to staff shortages, the appointment was cancelled, we had already started our journey and 10 mins from the dealership. The call should have been made earlier. Another date was booked for another week later. On the day my wife turned up, she was asked to pay £ 20 towards insurance. We had not been advised of this prior. I think its an insult not to offer a free courtesy car especially when your supplied product is faulty and being returned for warranty work. Our alternative would have been to pay for taxi's throughout the day going home and to work and coming back to collect. My wife raised this issue and I called and asked the service manager to call me, but didn't hear from anyone. Finally, the charge was not made. The courtesy car was filthy inside and out, with food all over the seats and floor. She was reminded not to eat in the car and to keep it clean. To be honest, she didn't drive the car for the few days you kept it for due to the condition of it. We had to call for an update on the vehicle because nobody kept us informed. We wanted our clean car back asap. Upon collection, we were told new parts needed to be ordered so the car was again booked in for a couple of hours work, my wife agreed to bring it in and would wait for the part to be replaced. On the day, my wife drove all the way to the dealership. I had surgery on the 4th Dec so she had to prepare the day before leaving to reach the dealership for 9:45 as agreed, taking the time off work also. Upon arrival, she was told the part had arrived but was damaged and would she come back a week later, she didn't receive a call first thing or wasn't told the night before. We got the feeling either the part hadn't been ordered/arrived. Nobody had bothered to call us. She had planned the day off work to attend to your appointment and wait whilst the work was completed. The car was then, once again, booked in for a week later. She asked Jess for a confirmation call the day before, to make sure the part had arrived, to ensure there wasn't a wasted journey. This didn't happen, so we called on the day of the appointment to check if we should start the journey or not. It was then that we were told it was ok to come in. The 1-2 hour job took 3 hours and were were then told not all the repairs could be completed due to Audi having some unresolved technical issues. So, some warning lights will continue to appear and we await to hear about this. Overall, the experience has been very, very poor. We own Range Rover, Porsche and Mercedes too. This is the first Audi in a long time. Whilst the product has been ok, your dealership service / experience has been sub standard. I wonder if we will get any response upon receipt of this detailed email. You will have the dates on your system as I cannot waste more of my time furnishing you with these.
