I can not thank Harry Fearn enough for his help & guidance while buying my first Audi!! He was an absolute delight to deal with, really informative & transparent, nothing was a problem & he made me feel like he was genuinely there to help me. Most importantly he listened to me. He did not talk at me or over me. Harry made me feel really at ease & kept me up to date with everything throughout the whole process. Extremely disappointing experience. I purchased a vehicle that has suffered ongoing faults since purchase, including a recurring charging system fault. Despite repairs being completed, the same issue reappeared immediately. I formally requested to reject the vehicle over a month ago and am still awaiting a formal resolution. Communication has been poor, updates have been inconsistent, and the matter remains unresolved. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this dealership or its aftersales service.

Deeply disappointed with this dealership. We were sold a car with multiple faults, including a broken A/C system that they clearly knew about. They even misled my pregnant wife during the handover by claiming the windows were being kept down “to save charge,” when the real reason was the faulty A/C. Completely unacceptable and unsafe. To make matters worse, communication has been appalling. Both Liam and Adele have ignored emails, and despite requesting to speak to the manager (Dan) multiple times, we were given a different excuse every time — he’s “with a customer,” “on the forecourt,” “on lunch,” or had apparently “finished for the day at 12pm.” Not once has he made the effort to speak with us. Stay away. I wish I had read the reviews before trusting them. UPDATE: (20/10/2026): Over a month ago, I formally requested to reject my vehicle due to ongoing faults that have existed since purchase. Despite numerous emails, repeated repair attempts, and the vehicle spending most of my ownership period off the road, I am still waiting for the dealership to provide a substantive response or a clear return process. The vehicle was returned to me following repairs, only for the same charging system fault to reappear immediately, leaving the car unusable once again. Throughout this process, communication has been poor, timelines have not been met, and I have been left chasing for updates. I appreciate that investigations take time, but being left waiting more than a month after formally exercising my right to reject is unacceptable. What should have been a straightforward resolution has instead become a prolonged and frustrating experience. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this dealership's aftersales service or complaint handling process.

Disgraceful place, constant lies, failure to call back when you chasing a complaint by management, shocking customer service. Will never buy a car from here again, would have given 0 if possible.

I’ve had an Audi A3 for several years, and while the car itself has been enjoyable, the ownership experience—especially with Audi Macclesfield—has been frustrating and disappointing. The staff here work very hard & are very friendly, but they're under a lot of pressure from management. 2021: Soon after buying my Audi A3 (used-approved), the infotainment system started crashing. Despite being under warranty, Audi Macclesfield had to convince Audi UK the issue was real by filming it, delaying the fix. I was in a courtesy car for four weeks. They then accidentally left another customer’s car keys in my vehicle, so sent someone to collect them from my house. 2024: After a diagnostic appointment & fix of an emissions regulator, my car went into limp mode on the way home. I found the engine cover sliding around, part of the air intake vent disconnected, and oil splattered inside the engine bay. Audi tried to book another diagnostic two weeks later instead of addressing the immediate issue. I had to show up in person and refuse to leave until they reattached the pipe. This experience lost my confidence in their service, so I had my next oil service done independently. 2025: My car (now 5 years old, 70k miles) developed gearbox faults. Audi quoted a large amount for the 'new gearbox'. When I asked Audi HQ for goodwill assistance (given the gearbox’s known issues), they first blamed “wear and tear” (on an automatic car), then questioned the car's ownership history, and finally denied help because I had the one service done outside their network. Given the lack of reliability, high costs, and poor service, I no longer believe owning this car is worth the long-term hassle. I’m considering getting the gearbox rebuilt independently for a fifth of Audi’s quote. Update: I emailed the address given in their reply, but as expected I got no reply. Its just typical of the service I have come to expect from Audi. I got another opinion from an independent transmissions specialist. The flywheel and clutch was replaced for a quarter of what Audi wanted for a new gearbox. The car’s been driving normally for 16 weeks & five thousand miles so far. I’ve also just had an independent major service which highlighted some hidden oil spills (created from Audi Macclesfield’s botch job of the emissions regulator in 2024) are now causing issues with nearby plastic coolant pipes under the gearbox. Now they won’t stop calling me asking to book my car in for servicing. Update Oct 2026: car now at 93k and independent flywheel and clutch replacement still working well after 1.5 year. Don’t touch this garage for any servicing or diagnostics.
