I bought a 39k used X5 from them and the car came with the steering wheel not straight, car is shaking at 70mph, AC not working properly, carpet and rear door panel dirty of puke, car is pulling right constantly, front passenger back cover broken, floor mats missing and a customer service that doesn’t care…. I’m not happy at all with their service. I bought cars from other BMW dealers and the cars were spotless. Think twice if you want to buy “approved used” cars from them…

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at BMW Norwich. I took my car in for an inspection on 28 May, and I was told that there were no faults apart from a washer repair. The repair cost quoted by BMW was very high, so I decided to have that work carried out by a local garage instead. I returned for another inspection on 9 July, and this time I was told that my 2025-registered car had significant issues, including claims that paintwork had been carried out previously. This was very surprising and concerning for such a new vehicle. The day before the inspection, a warning message appeared on my dashboard stating "Driver restraint system restricted." I reported this to BMW as it is clearly a serious safety-related issue. However, instead of investigating it under warranty, I was told that the vehicle showed signs of previous work, including tape being found and components allegedly being tampered with. I have never had any such work carried out on the vehicle. I was then quoted over £210 per hour simply to investigate the fault, with an estimated four hours of diagnostic work. On top of that, I was told that my warranty had been voided, despite the car being practically new. This is not the level of service I expect from an authorised BMW dealership. A fault relating to the driver restraint system is a potential health and safety issue and should be taken seriously. Instead, I felt my concerns were dismissed, and I was left facing excessive diagnostic charges and questions about my warranty without satisfactory evidence or explanation. Overall, this has been a very disappointing experience. I expected professionalism, transparency, and support from an authorised BMW service centre, but unfortunately, I received the opposite.

AVOID!!! I wish I could give no stars! MOT booked for 8.30 as a while you wait. Asked when dropped off how long it would take as I had a funeral to attend later midday and was told 1 1/2 hours. At 10am I noticed my car was still outside and thought it had been finished so went to get the keys to be told it hadn’t even been started! It appears they book too many vehicles to technicians!!! At no point while wasting my day away in their showroom did anyone come to tell me it would not be ready when promised. I booked it here as it is the nearest BMW but from past experiences, car being scratched, had to threaten legal action, send videos of it being towed in not scratched and several emails before it was agreed they had, a while you wait tyre fit taking 3 hours and then being over charged for the tyres, the list goes on! I will never trust this garage with my car again. Edit: the car was booked for 8.30 am and it had not even been moved from where I parked it, there was not extra work to be carried out!

Popped in to pick up some parts in my classic e24 today and heard a rattling coming from breaks. Matthew and Angus took a look and sorted the issue there and then .which meant I could drive home safe in the knowledge they had fixed the issue. Thanks guys 👍

Just picked up our 1 series today, Max was amazing, very down to earth and professional, collected us from the train station and we had a great conversation on the way to the dealership. Really excellent experience from the very start when we first showed interest in the car to being handed the keys. 100% recommend BMW Norwich.
