I recently purchased a BMW iX2 eDrive30 Sport, and I couldn’t be happier with both the car and the overall experience. The vehicle itself is outstanding—sleek, powerful, and incredibly smooth to drive. It perfectly blends performance with comfort, and the electric range and technology make it feel like a true step into the future. What really made the experience exceptional, though, was Nicolas. From start to finish, he was absolutely amazing—knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely helpful. He took the time to answer every question, guided me through all the features, and made sure I felt completely confident in my decision. Nothing ever felt rushed or pressured; instead, it was clear he truly cared about finding the right fit for me. Thanks to Nicolas, what can sometimes be a stressful process turned into a genuinely enjoyable one. I highly recommend Nicholas Read at Group 1 BMW Reading and working with him if you get the chance!

Absolutely exceptional service from the team at Reading BMW. The Head of Business, Dan, personally ensured I was well looked after, which shows incredible leadership and dedication to customer care. My Service Advisor, Lewis Rodgers, was also phenomenal from start to finish. He proactively organized a courtesy car for me when I was in a rush and kept me updated with crystal clear communication throughout the day. You can truly tell they care about their customers and put a massive amount of effort into ensuring every detail is sorted to the highest standard. The whole team operates with the highest level of professionalism and made the entire process completely stress-free. Highly recommend asking for Lewis if you need your car serviced!

Once again, I cannot believe the incompetence of this dealership, specifically in relation to the conduct and professionalism of your Service Manager, Jon, at your BMW Reading location. I regret to say that my interaction with Jon fell far below the standard I would expect from a brand of your reputation. Throughout the engagement, there was a clear lack of understanding of my concerns, as well as an absence of empathy toward my situation as a customer. I found his approach dismissive and unhelpful, which only served to escalate what should have been a straightforward matter. Equally concerning was what appeared to be a lack of sufficient knowledge or willingness to properly address customer needs. As someone who has been a loyal customer, I expect a level of competence and care that reflects the values your brand promotes. Unfortunately, this experience did not meet those expectations. Customer service is the cornerstone of any successful business. Without customers, there is no business to sustain. It is therefore disappointing to encounter such disregard for customer satisfaction, particularly at a managerial level where leadership and example are critical. As a result of this experience, I have made the decision to take my business elsewhere. This decision extends beyond my personal custom, as I will also be advising my company, family, and friends to reconsider their association with your dealership, this is already tangible with two new car orders placed elsewhere due to this poor experience. I hope you take this feedback seriously and review both the conduct and training of your staff to ensure that future customers do not encounter similar issues.

I have had a good experience buying an approved used 320 Touring from Group 1 in Reading. Steve was particularly helpful in making sure that I was happy with my choice of car, and even came in on his day off to arrange the handover.

Very, very poor service. I had an appointment on Tuesday, I took my car to be repaired. On Thursday they call me and tell me they have 2 hours to fix something I don't know (I don't know why they called me) I told them it was ok and on Friday they call me to go get it because they didn't have time to do anything to it and to take it back on Wednesday. So the car sat with them for 4 days and they weren't able to do anything. So it's a worthless, worthless company. After all, they are very, very expensive and they are also incompetent, otherwise I don't understand how my car sat with them for 4 days and they couldn't do anything for 2 hours. So I will never take it to them again and I don't recommend anyone take their car there because it's not worth it...it's better to go to a mechanic outside of BMW because those mechanics know more about their job than the ones at BMW and they don't lie to you. I DO NOT RECOMMEND.

After 8 years of using this dealership I have to say since it has been taken over the service has dropped considerably. Car booked in for diagnostics on Wednesday, not looked at until Thursday due to either over booking or lack of staff quoted "30 cars backed up". Thursday - silence, rang for an update at 3pm told it was next to be looked at. Nothing by 5pm considering dealership closes at 6 I needed to leave to pick it up. Nothing found on diagnostics from what I took it in for but magically £1k of work needing to be done (mixture of red/amber) despite being in for MOT and Health Check less than 3 weeks earlier and only thing flagged was to watch front tyre tread. After a second opinion I am convinced this was an attempt to take advantage of getting some expensive work out of me. Prices quoted are extortionate compared to local specialist dealership and none of the work as urgent as pressed upon me. Have contacted customer service and won't be returning.
