I firmly believe that your technician broke my car and tried to cover it up.
The car was left largely unusable and your staff were not even willing to expedite any sort of resolution.
If I were able to prove this I would be taking legal action.

I booked my vehicle in after having received two recall letters pertaining to a tow hook. On making the appointment it became apparent that I would be given the part to fit myself. I pointed out that I was in my late 60’s and that I was not a fitter. The receptionist said that help would be given. I then spoke to the service department as I was unsure of the need for this part. The service department was helpful and told me that the part was meant for cars where the tow hook was disassembled during periods of non use but to keep the appointment and they would check.
On arrival at the appointed time I was given a box, told that the garage would not fit the part as it would not take liability. As a retired barrister I would dispute this. At no point was my car looked at.
All the young man appeared interested in was getting a good review. I would counsel him that good reviews follow directly from outstanding work, in this case customer service. In this customers view, although admittedly not made by him personally, the promise of help to fit the part and the very sane comment that the vehicle would be looked at were not upheld.
There appears to be a disconnect between customer facing staff and those actually doing the job. I appreciate that Landrover is a large organisation but sometimes there are too many people between the customer and those actually performing the work.
The part remains untouched. A waste of my time and your resources.

Terrible aftercare bought a brand new Jaguar f pace and in the last 2 years it’s had over 7k engine repair work done! The car has been into jaguar garage 7 times and customer services manager (Simon Cheung) told me it’s wear and tear at 29000 miles! He wouldn’t even buy back the vehicle or even reply to my emails asking them for a price to buy it back. Very poor after sale service and communication.

From the outset ... waiting some 5 minutes+ for the roller-shutter door to open (without any apology in regards to the delay) ... to the finish about two-and-a-half hours later I have never experienced such abysmal service at your establishment. I was not told when booking the MOT that it would be a 2-hour slot (that was announced on arrival) but too late to change my plans ... bearing in mind that most MOT stations carry out the mandatory checks in 30 minutes. Also, I had ticked the box to have my vehicle washed/hoovered, so I had no option but to stay put. Well, at the end of my protracted wait my car was returned to me having passed its Test but no evidence of any cleaning eg. tailgate still muddy and carpet-wells covered in bits!! Sad to say I will not be recommending Chester Group 1 JLR to anyone soon.
