Survey - Mercedes-Benz of Leicester
2 hour appointment booked for 10.30am for my MOT & Service. Parking at this showroom/garage is appalling with nowhere to park. Car finally booked in by 10.45.
Finally received an email at 12.50 with the video. Still hadn’t heard from the garage to collect my car, so called them at 2.30pm to be told it was ready. When I got to the garage just after 3pm I was told the car was still being cleaned would be 10-15mins. We asked again at 3.30pm and again told 15mins to which I advised my ‘my 2hr time slot is currently now 5hrs!’ And wasn’t happy with the service received. I will not be using this breach again.

I have previously had excellent experiences at Mercedes and this set my expectations , so I was disappointed with my recent visit to Mercedes-Benz Leicester. I was handed the keys for a different car, which was alarming and concerning. No video car check was provided, and the car wash as promised during booking and check-in process was not offered and was declined. I have not encountered this with previous service providers. I hope these issues are addressed , things are managed more effeciently to restore the high standard of service you would expect from Mercedes.

Dear Mercedes-Benz Customer Service, I’m writing to express my disappointment following a recent visit to your Leicester dealership for warranty work on my Mercedes C-Class. While the customer service over the phone was excellent and the car was returned the same day, the condition in which it was returned was unacceptable. We collected the vehicle around 6:15 PM on 10th October, and due to poor lighting, we couldn’t inspect it properly. The following morning, we discovered the interior was filthy — mud on both the driver’s and passenger’s sides, and visible marks on the dashboard, seats dirty. This was extremely disheartening, especially considering the pride and care we take in maintaining our vehicle. In the past, we’ve used Mercedes-Benz of Loughborough, where the car was always returned clean and well-presented. Unfortunately, due to its closure, we had to use the Leicester branch, and the experience was a stark contrast. We’ve owned several Mercedes vehicles and have always received outstanding service from your network. This incident has left us disappointed and questioning the standards upheld at the Leicester dealership. I hope you’ll take this feedback seriously and ensure that future customers receive the level of care and respect that reflects the Mercedes-Benz brand. I’ve tried calling the Mercedes-Benz Leicester service department numerous times on 11th October, but unfortunately, no one answered the phone despite repeated attempts. This lack of response has led me to leave this review. I’m due a service and now find myself questioning whether I should book with a different branch, even though it would be less convenient for me. I would appreciate some reassurance that customer service is a priority before proceeding with my booking.

I booked my car in for what I thought would be a simple coolant fix and took the day off to wait in Leicester as I live in a different town and I’m 36 weeks pregnant and the only one able to drive my car . I dropped it off at 9:15am and explained my situation to the receptionist. She assured me it would be ready the same day, or I’d hear from them by 5pm. By 4:50pm, I still hadn’t received an update. When I called, I was told the car needed a new reservoir and wouldn’t be ready until the next day. Despite knowing my circumstances, no one bothered to contact me earlier. The following day I again heard nothing until I phoned at 5pm. I was told it would be ready in 10 minutes, which wasn’t realistic as I live out of town and would rely on public transport and they shut at 6pm. I collected it the next morning, only to find it was still not ready and it was also being cleaned. I understand delays happen, but the lack of communication and consideration for my situation was very disappointing. A simple call earlier would have made a big difference as I wasted a day off and kept to go back and forth. If my circumstances were different, maybe I wouldn’t have been so bothered but any business should be more considerate with their customers.

Every thing went to plan. Greeted on arrival and my loan car was ready for me. I was kept informed during the day on the progress of my service before being contacted to say that the work had been completed and my car was ready for collection. On arrival Harish Patel went through my MOT report to advise me of all items that may need some attention in the future, for which I was very thankful. He then accompanied me to my vehicle, which was in pristine condition both inside and out, and handed it back to me. I had to smile the following morning when at 09:01 I received a text message to say that my car was ready for collection. Seems that the IT is slower than the Staff

Really not impressed by Mercedes Leicester.  It was my first visit, for a long-standing recall.  The carpark was extremely congested, so I pulled behind a line of double-parked vehicles and was immediately shouted at by an employee driving a big 4WD.  I asked where I was supposed to park and said I was going inside to check in and the staff could move my car to wherever it would be best.  No, he said, you'll have to block those vehicles in over there.  I moved mine to where he said and he drove off without any thanks or acknowlegement. 3.5 hours later, the job was complete and I drove out.  I noticed immediately that the nearside windscreen was covered in greasy marks.  Obviously the technician carrying out the work to replace the 2 airbags had been pressing his head against the screen but absolutely no attempt had been made to wipe it clean. Not wanting a repeat of the parking when I arrived, I drove home and cleaned it (and marks on the glove box / dash) but expected a LOT better from Mercedes.  Such a simple thing to clean the inside of the screen and unclean was really noticeable and quite unpleasant on a car that we go to great pains to look after properly.
