Lower star as I asked on the online check in for the AirCon refresh. Mentioned this when I dropped the car off but after I left looking at the receipt, this has not been completed.
Also I said I needed the car at 4pm. I received a text at 4.10pm to say it was ready and I was a few minutes away. When I arrived it was not ready as it was still being washed. The service person said he had tried to call me but I had no call all afternoon.

The MOT was dealt with very efficiently as were the verbal and video reports. The only minor disappointment was that the MOT and service took about an hour longer than anticipated.

Repair work completed as specified and communication good, but disappointed that wheel damage was apparent and when noted to staff, I felt this issue was dismissed.I did say I will take this up further. Indeed it's not in keeping with a dealership for which I've been a customer since 2004.

Trying to get charged nearly £80 for wiper blades. It wasn't until i questioned it that it got reduced. Apparently somebody put in 1.5hrs instead of 0.5 hours into the quote. Do this a few times a year unnoticed and the profits are brilliant. I have noticed this pattern a few times. With my business partners car - tried to charge £8k for repairs - he questioned it and then got it done for £3.5k. My own sons car, got quoted for parts that were covered under warranty, the G1 argued it, then went back on it and said it was covered. It only takes a few un-noticed customers to earn larger than normal profits. Definitely something to look out for in the future.

No notice was given to me that the machine used for MOT was broken. I only found this out because I phoned late afternoon to ask what was happening as I’d dropped off my car the previous day. This left little time to organise how I was going to collect my car the next day.

Very disappointing customer service. I wonder when someone was going to call me to tell me my car was not ready collect. I had to call to find out what was happening and then told would need to keep car overnight but was told what the problem with the car was. I had to call again the following day when I again had no call. I was told car was next to be looked at, it actually hadn’t been looked at day before. This made me cross it is something that I find annoying to basically not be told the truth. Perhaps staff need to be told honesty is the best policy. Just very disappointing when customers expect better from a brand like Mercedes. Perhaps other dealerships are more caring.
