We went to test drive two cars, and I'm telling you that the experience we had was top-tier. Our key contact (salesman), Dale, is brilliant; he is a gem. Very personable, lovely, and offers great advice. He doesn't pressure you and is a kind man. Thank you, Dale, you made our Christmas 2025!

I recently bought a car from Mercedes-Benz in Warrington store and was served by Dale Lee. He was professional, friendly and very patient throughout the whole process. He explained everything clearly, kept me updated and made the purchase experience smooth and stress-free. I’m very happy with my new car and truly appreciate Dale’s excellent service. Highly recommend him and this dealership.

One word: AVOID! The lack of care, diligence, skill and professionalism is beyond non existent within the aftersales dept. My vehicle (purchased as approved used from another branch, and is still within warranty) was recovered in to this branch as a breakdown, with a safety critical concern of water ingress in the boot near high voltage electrical parts such as the battery and SAM module under the boot liner. Water and electricity are not a safe mix. We all know this. My vehicle was in with this branch for a total of 7days. In this time no meaningful testing was done, rather I was met with accusations and false claims of why the boot was wet. They insulted me by accusing me of leaving a bottle of cola in the boot. And then changed their accusations to accusing me of leaving the boot open. Both of which are entirely untrue and unfounded. At the time, my service advisor was disrespectful and lacks basic professionalism after I was addressed by my surname alone on numerous occasions, yet she was aware of my first name and title. They proceeded to advise me no fault found. They advised they had done a hose test on the car and yet still came to the same conclusion of no fault found, despite their hose test having caused further saturation in the boot, causing water to seep beneath and into the boot tray where the battery and SAM module is located. They then told me I had to pay for this, yet the car is under warranty, so the first hour diagnostics is covered by warranty and if no fault is found there should be no charge. And they clearly advised me no fault found. I requested the formal complaints procedure via email prior to collecting my car from Lemmisa Gwafa and I was failed yet again as she failed to provide the details by email and in person on collection of my car. After collecting my car, I took it upon myself to check beneath the boot liner to ensure the battery and module are dry only to find water in and around the battery. This simple visual check was clearly not performed in the initial diagnostics at Mercedes Benz Warrington, as if it was they would have seen further evidence of the water ingress. Upon discovering this water when I checked I have since called Mercedes roadside assistance where the technician confirmed fault by by visual inspection. No complex diagnostics was required to confirm the fault. I have since , raised this directly with GROUP1 head office and Mercedes Benz head office, both of which I had to find the details myself and research how to raise a complaint. If you value respect, honesty and courtesy, I would strongly advise not to visit this retailer's aftersales department as you will not receive a professional service on multiple levels.

Purchasing various vehicles through Autotrader in the past has been really good. Sad to say the aftersales experience from Mercedes A1 has been very disappointing,When purchasing the car, we were happy with the service in sales and looked after by Harry. We negotiated and agreed on terms for us buying the car, these being the normal service, MOT, breakdown cover etc. plus a second key as only 1 with the car.[this being an important condition for us continuing with sale. We came away buzzing and excited. On collection of car on 1st October, we were informed that Harry had left the day after we had dealt with him and was introduced to Jack who was now completing sale. Not all information about agreements and promises had been passed on to him, therefore we were a fare few hours going over all agreed. Jack was very accommodating and promised he would send away for the 2nd key that we were told had already been done. 2 months on and after leaving 4 messages with staff that we have had no response from, also reported missing part in boot and sent photo of space were it should be, no response on either. Still waiting for 2nd key so we can drop off V5 for our old vehicle and pick up key. We love the car and hope this can be resolved so we can move on and enjoy the car. Regards Bill Morrison

Very poor service from Mercedes Benz, Warrington. My car was booked in for a problem with the Ad-Blue sensor, which I thought had been sorted and paid for last year at the Cheshire Oaks branch. My car was in for the day and Marissa said she would contact me with an update and price, I chased this and eventually she came back and told me that as it was late in the day she would get a quote for me tomorrow and contact me. There was no contact and the following day I tried contacting the branch. I started ringing at approximately 8.30am and there was no answer after several times ringing throughout the morning. I eventually got through to someone who then transferred me to another department who didn’t answer the telephone. Eventually I went into the branch. I checked in with Reception and then waited 40 minutes before anyone came to see me. Marissa came to see me and told me that due to stocktaking at Milton Keynes, she could not give me a quote. I questioned the use of the computer system, but she said there was nothing she could do until Saturday morning. There was no contact on Saturday, I rang repeatedly on Monday and eventually went into the branch again! Marissa told me that she still did not have a price for the work, which was now quoted as an Ad-Blue valve, as the stocktake had run over onto the Monday. She said that she had a list of customers she needed quotes for and that I was on the urgent list. She rang me later that day and my car was booked in for repair. I dropped my car off and it was heavy rain. I asked if it would be possible for someone to give me a lift home, which is less than 5 minutes by car and I was told that they didn’t offer that service and to try and get a taxi. My car repair was completed that day. I asked for a wash and footwell hoovering but that wasn’t carried out. I really feel that the customer service and telephone answering are poor. I can also inform you that there were other people in the garage at the same time that were very unhappy with the service they had received. This is not the first time we have had a problem with Warrington. We wanted to buy a new car a few years ago and felt we were treated as window shoppers and therefore we bought out present car from another garage. A lot of staff walking around but no acknowledgement.
