Excellent service throughout from booking to actual servicing. The dealer kept me informed on progress throughout. The only thing missing and reason why l deducted 1* was the complimentary car wash and vacuum at the end.

I've been extremely let down by the service at Skoda Southend. My car was dropped off on 11th August with a promised turnaround of 4 days. Despite explaining multiple times that I need my dual-control car for my job as a driving instructor, a staff member I spoke to on a recent call seemed unaware of this, suggesting it hadn't been flagged internally at all. When I asked if my car could be prioritised given the long delay, I was told "there are other cars that the assigned mechanic needs to work on." After a month with no clear completion date, this response was hard to accept. After constantly chasing for updates every few days with no firm date given, I'd spent £945 hiring a dual-control courtesy car so I could continue working. I am asking Skoda Southend to reimburse these costs, given they arose entirely from the extended and poorly communicated delay in repairing my vehicle. My car has finally been returned to me, but after a long process of 6 weeks.
