I recently purchased a new Mercedes-Benz CLA 200 from Mercedes-Benz Derby, and I have to say that the whole experience was excellent from start to finish. Initially, I wasn’t sure whether to go for a new or used car. Phil, my salesman, took the time to understand what I was looking for and guided me through both options. He showed me around a new car, we also looked at a used car, and I had the opportunity to test drive it. Buying a new car can sometimes feel quite stressful, particularly when you’re working through all the different options and financial figures. Phil was excellent throughout the process. He never rushed me and took the time to make sure I understood everything. When we went through the figures together, it became clear that purchasing a new CLA 200 made the most sense for me, and I’m extremely pleased with the decision. The handover was equally impressive. When I arrived at the showroom to collect the car, the whole experience felt really special. Everything was prepared exactly as expected — in fact, it was better than I expected. Phil then spent a considerable amount of time taking me through the car, including all the systems, functions, entertainment features and controls. What really stood out was that he told me his next appointment wasn’t until 4pm, and as I’d arrived at 10am, he was happy to spend as much time as I needed to make sure I was completely comfortable with the car and understood how everything worked. That level of personal service is something you don’t always get, and it made a real difference to my experience. I’m absolutely delighted with my CLA 200 and would have no hesitation in recommending Phil and the team at Mercedes-Benz Derby. A genuinely first-class experience.
