Group 1 Ford Guildford

As a family we had to buy 3 cars in two years. After working with various dealers and looking at various cars I have to say Ross at Group1 Guildford was the most responsive, most supportive and someone I won't hesitate to reach out to next time.

We bought our second-hand car here, over a year ago and the experience was excellent from start to finish. We didn't have an appointment but Stuart the salesman was incredibly polite and professional and took the time to arrange a test drive and answer all of our queries, I requested some minor paintwork and interior repairs and these were agreed without hesitation and he kept us fully updated on the progress and the timeline for collection. The after-sales service was just as great and he promptly answered a couple of follow-up questions we had after driving away. I recently returned to the same dealership for a service and MOT, and I received the exact same level of customer service from the service department. I also found the service costs to be very competitive. Thank you

Purchased a 2023 Ford Puma ST for my son and, unfortunately, our experience has been extremely disappointing. After purchasing the car, we cleaned it thoroughly only to discover that it had previously had a very poor paint repair. When we raised this with the dealer, we were simply told that the car was sold as seen, that they had not carried out the repair, and that there was nothing they could do. Things didn’t improve from there. The edge of the driver’s seat began to show signs of wear, only for us to be told that this wasn’t covered under warranty. For a relatively new vehicle, this was very disappointing and only covered 6k miles from new. Within the first few months, the car also suffered a puncture. We had been sold tyre protection, so naturally we expected this to be a straightforward process. Unfortunately, it turned out to be anything but. You have to make a claim with the tyre protection company and, if accepted, book the vehicle into one of their approved stores — in this case, Kwik Fit. They then have to inspect the tyre, write a report and send it back to the office for approval. We were told this process could take five to seven working days. My question is simple: how are you supposed to drive the vehicle in the meantime when there is no spare tyre? It makes the tyre protection feel like a complete waste of money when actually trying to use it becomes such a long and complicated process. Overall, our experience has been extremely disappointing. Ford has, in my opinion, gone rapidly downhill over the years, particularly when it comes to customer service and aftercare. After this experience, I can safely say that I’ll be sticking with Audi in the future. The difference in the level of aftercare has been noticeable, and unfortunately Ford has completely lost our confidence.

Excellent service from start to finish. Would highly recommend buying a commercial vehicle from Group 1 and would recommend using the salesperson Ed.

We had an excellent test drive with Ford Guildford today. From our first call with Stuart to our test drive with John we found the staff exceptionally helpful polite, professional, understanding and knowledgable.

I cant believe the way the van sales get away with getting finance and selling you a warranty that is not fit for for you and then get finance from blackhorse and they can get you a cheaper deal but don't tell you when you complain they say you where rude to there staff you try to complain to manager but put you through to the same guy who try to sell you a bad deal I hope people see this be on your garden as they van sale guy is not honest
