Instead, the charging cables are neatly stored underneath the boot floor for utmost convenience. Make the most of 100 litres of drainable storage space under the bonnet, perfect for carry-on luggage. Introducing the most powerful member of the electric Ford family: the Mustang Mach-E GT. This top of the range performance EV brings even more athletic edge to zero-emission driving, creating one of the most exhilarating drives available. Green driving has never been so exciting.
The new Ford Mustang Mach-E GT has a class-leading electric range of 372 miles. You’ll never be caught short when enjoying its tight drive and sporty dynamics.
Electric powertrains create track-worthy performance. Put your foot down for an impressive 0 to 62mph sprint of just 6.1 seconds.
This finely-tuned sports experience is matched perfectly with a signature body kit that’s exclusive to the Mach-E GT. It’s a real head-turner with aggressive lines, a dropped front bumper and body-coloured wheel arches.
Going electric doesn’t just mean no more trips to the pumps. All-electric vehicles also have fewer moving parts compared to traditional cars, which means lower maintenance costs. You can also benefit from tax reductions and government grants and incentives.
Electric cars have the advantage of cheaper running costs. Electricity is much more affordable than fuel, drastically cutting down your daily running costs. You can even take advantage of late-night tariffs for even cheaper charging.
Fewer moving parts combined with Ford’s 8-year battery warranty could save Mustang Mach-E owners hundreds on maintenance costs over 5 years/60,000 miles, compared to petrol and diesel vehicles.
Find out the main factors that affect the driving range of the Mustang Mach-E.
Fully electric or internal combustion engine. It doesn’t matter what power your car uses as heavy acceleration is not efficient.
And the same goes for high-speed driving. The faster you drive, the more wind and road resistance affects your range.
The weather has a direct effect on your Mach-E’s range. Extremes of cold and hot temperatures (anything under 4°C and over 30°C) reduce your battery’s capacity which in turn shortens your range.
Using climate control when you’re out driving will also reduce range as heating and cooling functions are powered by the battery too.
Regenerative braking is a clever system that captures energy that's usually lost when braking and then reuses it in the battery.
This increases battery efficiency and increases driving range.
There are a few things you can do to ensure you get the most out of your Mustang Mach-E’s driving range.
You can use the FordPass App, or the touchscreen in the Mach-E, to pre-condition your car. This includes setting departure times and heating or cooling the cabin whilst your car is plugged in which prevents any range loss.
Try to keep your Mustang Mach-E plugged in whenever it’s parked. Trickle charging in cold weather is another great way to keep the battery at an optimal temperature.
Your battery needs to heat up to an optimal temperature through normal driving before it can take high-power charging. This means using a fast charger after driving a short distance may affect charging performance.
Make sure your tyre pressures are correct. Driving with under-inflated tyres reduces driving range as it impacts rolling road resistance and increases drag.
It’s also important to have the right tyre pressure when driving on icy roads as this ensures maximum grip and traction. We recommend winter tyres for driving on icy, snowy roads.
When you’re out driving, use climate control to set a comfortable yet moderate ambient temperature. Constantly turning the climate control off and on affects the battery, so it’s much more efficient to keep a constant temperature.
Use heated seats and the heated steering wheel where possible. It’s much easier to heat yourself than it is to heat the whole cabin, so consider using this as the main way for passenger warmth when out driving.

*Based on full charge. The electric range shown was achieved using the WLTP test procedure and may not reflect real driving results, which will depend upon a number of factors including the starting charge of the battery, accessories fitted, variations in weather, driving styles, route profile and vehicle load and lithium-ion battery age and condition. WLTP Overall Range reflects a combined driving cycle and WLTP Extra High reflects motorway driving – both tests are conducted in controlled conditions with an ambient temperature of 23 degrees Celsius and no climate or electrical load. †Ford test data based on testing methodology using 1-ft rollout i.e. from a rolling start. ++Achieved using high power charging.
