Adaptive Cruise Control (Available as an option) helps avoid accidents by keeping your vehicle a safe distance from any traffic ahead. It means you can cruise safely and comfortably on long car journeys.
This technology works using the radar-controlled Front assit area monitoring system with City Emergency Braking system. It can detect traffic ahead and adjusts your speed to maintain a constant gap between yourself and the vehicle in front. If you do ge to close, audio and visual signalswill be sisplayed, and if neccerssary, the emergency braking system will be triggered. -

Statistics show that overtired driver cause up to 25% of motorway accidents, so it is extremely important to take a break on long and tiring journeys.
The new Driver Alert System makes motorway driving much safer by alerting you when you may need to take a break. It works by carefully monitoring the drivers behaviour, tracking the wheel movements and lane deviations so it can judge when you are starting to feel sleepy. If the system senses that you are starting to loose concerntration it will alert you with a warning sound via the dashboard visual display.

Brake Assist System
The Brake Assist System is designed to help in an emergency or any panic braking situations. This safety function can massively reduce your car's stopping distance although it is such a smooth operating system you would hardly notice.
The system will detect that the full braking system is needed and will boost the brake pressure up to the ABS threshold and will continue to do so whilst you keep the pedal brake pressed right down.
If you ease of the pedal, the system will automatically reduce the brake pressure again to match the pedals position.

This can reduce the severity of the crash or even avoid the collision all together. -
