Drove the one hour home and called assist who were extremely helpful, diagnosed in 5 minutes and proceeded to assist in getting the vehicle the 1 hour back to dealership.
Finally got home 5 hours after initially calling into dealership.
Called dealership 4 days later for progress as hire car was unsatisfactory and told my car would be in workshop 2 days later so decided to preserve with hire car but then when called 4 days later told vehicle may get into the workshop the following week.
Each time I called the service department (7 times) no one picked the phone up despite letting it ring for over 4 minutes. On occasion helpful receptionist answered she passed message on for a call back but no one ever did.
It was only twice when I had to make my feelings known quite strongly about the poor customer service that I got a reply.
Was promised a call back from the after sales manager which never came.
In summary, Land Rover assist and the AA helpful but Group 1 Landrover at Kings Lynn some of the poorest customer service I have experienced.
By mid afternoon received a call to say ready to collect.
