Check in was excellent, simple, quick and easy. I received a phone call mid afternoon to advise my car was ready and the problems had been fixed. It went wrong when I arrived to called my car. The lady at reception desk asked me to take a seat and somebody would be with me shortly - I was then abandoned for 40 minutes. As it was 5pm there was no one manning the reception desk so I can't even chase things up. Very disappointed!

I had booked in for 16 March, on 12arch I received an auto text reminding me of my appointment on 13th meaning I had to ring up to clarify. Ignore, it’s an error for reasons unknown. I arrived on 16th and collected my courtesy car which only had 16 miles of fuel in meaning I was delayed getting to work as I had to put fuel in before getting on the motorway. There was an issue which had raised with them which prompted the inevitable call of the cost of investigation but I was given an open ended quote with no firm idea of what it would cost so I declined but they offered a technician to call me. 20 minutes later I was called by the same person who said the technician saw no reason to cal me as she had told me the issue. When I collected the car, they wouldn’t release it because they hadn’t realised it was on account and no one had checked and it was now after 5. No one asked me on delivery whether it was on account and it had been in twice before. To the same agate so my account could and should have been noted or they should have asked at the outset. The representative was argumentative, talked over me and was unapologetic. I have had numerous issues with the car and the service at the dealership is at best sketchy with pockets of good but usually very poor. I now regret ending a 20 year relationship with Audi and will not be having another JLR.

Service reception poor
Waited 15 mins outside the drive in reception due to a queue of cars upon arrival at 0815. The same happened upon my return at 1645 and so I parked the loan car outside and sat in service reception for over 30 minutes before a member of staff phoned me to see if I was collecting my vehicle. No staff were visible to help prior to this. It was then further 30 minutes before I could pay and leave as the payment link did not work.
I had been called to say that the car needed a tyre for the mot and there would be one tyre on advisory and so I said that I wanted a clean mot so do both tyres and have no advisories. I was therefore very upset to find that I had a failed mot for the tyre that day just before a pass mot with other advisories that had not been mentioned. Surely the full service costing £600 would advise that the tyre had a split in the tread and surely it could have been rectified without registering a FAIL on a car that has been looked after and only 27,000 miles.
The advisory for surface ‘rust’ on a brake disc is a joke as that had gone when I arrived home - it was just surface from lack of use that week !
Honestly I will think long and hard before trusting an mot to this garage again.
