Car was booked in for a service and a fault repair. Next available app was 4 weeks away. The part needed for the repair wasn’t in stock despite it being obvious that it would need replacing. It was then missed off the next day delivery. I was kept informed of what was happening at all points and the staff were friendly.
I then waited one and a half hours in the showroom to be given the bill and the keys when I was told the car was ready to collect the day before.

When I was initially trying to book in the appointment for a diagnostics test, I received differing information from various Customer Service staff regarding the length of time that my vehicle would need to be on site. This was key for me as I reside in Blackburn but also work shifts.
When the car was eventually booked in for the work, the service was smooth, slick and professional.
On calling to advise that I was missing my wheel nut on the day that I collected my car, the way that I was questioned about its location with the person confirming it had been left in the boot showed a very different form of customer service. I felt as if I was being foolish and should look harder to find said piece. I was not impressed and have not returned to collect a spare locking wheel nut as intended - I didn't need another 2 hour round trip because of traffic, after a night shift, just for this. Why no-one could offer to post one out to me was bemusing and somewhat disappointing.
On a final note, I was never advised that I could have paid the final bill in 3 instalments, which would have been most helpful to know as the amount was a substantial expense. This was my first time using the dealership after moving to the NW area from Surrey - I have been left with very mixed feelings about the overall experience.

Cara kept us updated on progress, clarified points when questioned and gave us peace of mind when we left to come back if the car didn't perform to our expectation.
The initial call to book the car in wasn't great therefore I called at the dealership two days prior to my appointment to clarify the work to be done with Louise and this was followed up in my conversation on the day of my appointment with Cara. Therefore the initially call handling when booking a car in for service is where I would look for improvements to be made.
