When we were buying our used, approved car, everyone seemed super nice and helpful. However, they sold us a car that failed its MOT within 4 months! The tyres were dangerously old, and they knew it — this had already been flagged on the MOT the year before. We trusted them, so it didn’t even occur to do online MOT check for this car. Nine months later, when we needed to sell the car (we were leaving the country due to a family emergency), they offered us a very low price. When we asked if they could go a bit higher, we got a curt reply: “Nothing more.” We were genuinely taken aback by how rude that response was. In the end, we sold the car to another Lexus dealer for a much better price.

Customer service and standard of work carried out has drastically reduced in the last 18 months. Staff seem poorly trained and not proactive in any way. Internal procedures no longer work. If you are buying a new vehicle you are treated very well initially, if there is a problem with your vehicle then you are treated extremely poorly and lied too.
