Sold a car to this dealership through a 3rd party app. They bid for our car on Thursday, delayed payment on friday, monday, tuesday and Wednesday. Pick up was finally agreed for Thursday...when Thursday came around the guy from a pick up service arrived to then be told that the payment agreement with the 3rd party had expired, due to these guys dragging their feet. We were then unhelpfully told, as the pick up service were standing waiting, that we could reschedule our pick up or wait til noon that day for our payment and not to worry as they are a "reputable dealership" we then recieved an email stating that we would receive payment by 1pm. 1pm came and went and guess what...no payment. Called the dealership to follow up and no one knows anything about it. The level of incompetence and disregard for customer service and common decency beggars belief.

Very happy with Toyota for my service, car washed and vacuumed complimentary to the service. Checking was smooth and I was promptly greeted, and offered assistance if needed but I don’t think automatic key drop will ever be as good experience as a human being. Collection was more human, and I’m happy to report very satisfied with the experience.

I have had my Toyota Auris from new and have taken out multiple service plans with Group 1 and been very happy with the service provided by Toyota Burton. This was my first experience with Group 1 Toyota Derby. I was telephoned prior to my intermediate service and MOT on 24 July to say that the MOT ramp had broken so they could not do the MOT I was offered an MOT the following week. This would have been when I was on my holiday so I booked it for my return on 6 August and was told that the special MOT price would be honoured. However, on 29 July I was telephoned to be told that my MOT was being cancelled as the ramp was still not working and they couldn't rebook and I should go elsewhere. I was flabbergasted so I could not highlight my disappointment. I was then telephoned on 30 July to give feedback on my experience with yourselves to which I said that I was still annoyed that they could not do my MOT the man said he was sorry but I struggled to believe him and as I was on holiday (looking around a Palace at the time!) I didn't want to speak further. I have waited until now to give measured feedback. This has highlighted the following: 1. How can a major dealership be without MOT facilities for so long? I cannot believe that you have cancelled all of the MOTs that were lined up over the last 2 weeks. Couldn't you have redesignated a service ramp as the MOT ramp? The garage is full of mechanics why couldn't you fix it? I felt that the person’s tone I dealt with was at best disingenuous about the situation. 2. I am now considering cancelling my service plan which has another two years to run, due to this experience and the premium I am paying for it is not worth it given this debacle. 3. My son will shortly inherit my car as his first car, and I am looking for a new\nearly new car. I am currently disinclined to bring any further business to yourselves as this experience is the only one on which I can judge you.

Everything was on time. I decided to wait for the car, and the surroundings are comfortable. The staff very friendly, informative and helpful.

Spoke to Jack Hughes regarding my Corolla which was first registered there. My battery had gone flat after car not used for about 10 days. Once I'd got it running the infotainment system required a security code. Spoke to the Toyota dealer I bought it from who advised that I had use the dealer code of Group 1 Toyota in Derby. Jack gave me a couple of suggestions regarding their dealer code, (use upper case, lower case, spaces etc). Eventually the code worked and infotainment system is up and running with no problems. Needless to say I've now made a note in vehicle handbook for future use. Thanks Jack, you saved the day for me on Friday 31st August and now have sat nav and android auto working again.
