Initially dealt with David, very professional service, great info and comms, I'd done my research so really just needed to come and see the car and make sure it is what I thought it was in terms of the condition and spec. The car is an absolute peach very clean, well prepared and ready to go. The team were very helpful when we kept changing delivery date and were accommodating. David was out of the office for a couple of days but did contact me on his day off to make sure the relevant items were taken care of. The the handover was very smooth with Phil taking care of the final paperwork and inspection. All in all highly recommended and we'll probably come back for another car in maybe a month or so. Exactly the kind of service that I expected to receive at a Toyota dealership and they didn't let me down. Great experience. Good car, good people. Ten out of ten experience!

Purchased a used Aygo for my daughter as her first car. I was specifically looking for a 1 owner car with full Toyota history. They do show up on the private and independent dealer market but involves a long wait and constant searching. So I went the main dealer route which means paying extra but then you have the assurance of an inspected car with warranty which would be prepared well (so you would assume!). It is that that part that I was disappointed with. It was a 1 owner car with full history but the dealer made no effort in preparation prior to handing over vehicle. Very dirty engine bay, all 4 car wheel arches and shocks caked in dirt. As soon as you open doors there is dirt caked along the hinges and shut lines. Once I had the car home, I put it on my lift (I am an engineer), I find the both side drop links badly deteriorated, RHS track rod end boot was leaking grease and both lower control arm rear bushes cracked. The rear wiper blade was non existent. Tear in the door seal. I have photographs for all of this. It was only a very short matter of time before they would fail. The warranty would be useless as these would be classed as wear and tear components. All my expectation is that if buying from a main dealer, you should get a well prepared car (at least washed properly) and any known wear and tear components inspected and replaced so the new owner doesn't get hit with bills within the year. How can you sell a car with torn bushes and leaking boots and not existent wiper blades. What prep and inspection did it actually go through? What am I paying the extra for? Next time, I think I'll just go for a cheaper car privately or from an independent dealer and take the time and effort of inspecting it myself, rather than calling a main dealer and putting down a deposit on the phone with full trust. They even convinced me to pay for the car in full before collection saying it takes them a while to check if payment has arrived if I do it upon arrival and then it will waste time with everyone waiting around. I think we are in an age where instant payments can be checked errm...instantly.

Next time, I'll just go for cheaper independent dealer or private car and make the effort of inspecting it myself rather than trusting a mail dealer and offering a deposit over the phone. Unfortunately these days paying more doesn't necessarily mean getting more.

Dropped off car for service. Asked to take a seat while Reception found the person to check details. All very quick. Pick up also straightforward and before the afternoon rush hour started - always a bonus.

Efficient and friendly service

Very fast and smooth service, it was quick efficient and I got my car back within a few hours after I dropped it off for its first service. The curtesy car was also quite nice, Toyota Yaris.
