Porsche Cayenne Electric.
All-electric, all-terrain, all Porsche. The all-new Cayenne Electric builds on two decades of off-road prowess, and all-weather capability. Built around a bespoke platform, the new model offers a longer wheelbase, larger cabin, and flexible storage options. Adaptive air suspension and electronic Porsche Traction Management technology ensures a comfortable ride, and effective deployment of performance in all settings.
Available in two variants at launch - the Cayenne Electric, and the Cayenne Turbo Electric - the new model sets new standards in its class for performance and technology.
Interior and Technology.
AI-enabled infotainment software makes operating your new Porsche Cayenne Electric more intuitive, and convenient. An intelligent voice assistant is on-hand at all times, ready to assist with route planning, searching for charging stations, personalising the cabin, and much more.
A curved 14.25" drivers' display is joined by the Flow Display on the dashboard. The angled OLED touchscreen allows for clear separation between control and display areas. A 14.9" passenger display is optionally available, creating the largest display area ever found in a Porsche when specified.
Elsewhere, the five-seat cabin features ISOFIX child seat mounting points on the second row, a 747-litre boot, and a 90-litre storage area under the bonnet. A range of material colours and personalisation options are available.
Performance.
Two variants are available at launch, both with dual-motor powertrains and all-wheel drive. The Cayenne Electric develops 408hp in normal operation, increasing to 442hp and 835Nm torque with Launch Control activated. It accelerates from 0-62mph in 4.8 seconds, and can reach a top speed of 143mph.
The Cayenne Turbo Electric features an enhanced powertrain, with direct oil cooling and a limited-slip differential on the rear motor. It offers 857hp in its normal driving mode. Activating Launch Control unleashes the most powerful production Porsche ever made, with output swelling to 1,156hp and 1,500Nm torque. 0-62mph takes just 2.5 seconds, and the Cayenne Turbo Electric is capable of a 162mph top speed. A Push-to-Pass system releases an extra 176hp for effortless overtaking performance.
Both models can tow up to 3.0 tonnes as standard, increasing to 3.5 tonnes with the optional Off-Road Package fitted. This also adds unique exterior styling features, and off-road settings for the suspension.
Range and Charging.
Powering the new model is a 113kWh capacity battery, offering up to 398 miles WLTP range for the Cayenne, and 387 for the Turbo. Using an 800-volt electrical architecture, the car can recharge at up to 400kW DC, returning a 10-80% top-up in just 16 minutes on a suitable public rapid charger. 11kW AC charging capability comes as standard, with two sockets to use for home or public charging.
All UK-bound Cayenne Electric models come with preparation for wireless charging. From 2026, a wireless charging pad will be made available, allowing for convenient cable-free recharging at home, starting the moment you park. Using a home wallbox, a 10-100% charge will require around 15 hours at home.
