My experience at Beadles Volkswagen Maidstone could have been better because there was very little flexibility on the sale price. Completely appreciate the view of a 'fair price' is subjective and dependent on whether you are the dealer or the potential purchaser. :0) Another point, again appreciating how this relates to which side of the table you are sat on, the discussion of flexibility on price was always linked to purchasing additional packages and monthly finance payments which was in stark contrast to my other experiences where base line figures were offered. Essentially, the approach leaves an overly blatant impression the seller is trying to make as much money out of you as possible. Whilst I completely appreciate this is business, it felt a little too much like banking rather than appreciating someone is potentially interested in purchasing an item from your business.
