Just a wonderful experience buying our Porsche Macan S from the Porsche Centre Portsmouth. Every part of the process from initial contact, negotiation, test drive and collecting the vehicle, was handled efficiently, and with customer service and customer experience as the top priority. Just one out of many highlights was the initial welcome when we first entered the Centre, with a fresh dish of water for our Flatcoated Retriever after her 2 hour stint in the car! Little things like that make all the difference. Many thanks to Dan Marsh, Ben, and all the team who played their part.

We were informed that our vehicle required a wheel re-alignment as it had failed on-test and recommended that the A/C was to be re-gassed due to the vehicle being 2ys old. Although no test had been conducted on the A/C system to ascertain if it was functioning correctly, we believed that it was working within tolerance so decided not to have an unnecessary process completed.
The wheel alignment was quoted at £955.20 with no explanation as to why the cost was so high. When questioned we were then provided a copy of the alignment report and informed by the service advisor that our vehicle also required camera re-alignment due to the o/s rear wheel camber be out of tolerance!
Having then called our supplying Porsche centre for a second quote, we were quite shocked to be informed that their alignment cost would only be £580.00 and that camera re-alignment is unnecessary and would only be required if any removal of cameras and/or bumpers had taken place.
I can only feel that the recommended works by Porsche Portsmouth, included unnecessary and costly works that would otherwise be deemed acceptable by an alternative Porsche centre. Therefore unfortunately on this occasion, we have not authorised Porsche Portsmouth to complete these works.

Cannot praise Dan Marsh and the rest of the team at Portsmouth highly enough. Initially most of the contact was via phone and Email - Dan responded quickly to the many questions I had, enabling me to make a very quick initial purchase decision on the Macan. A test drive was arranged by Dan, and the car perfectly prepared for our visit - nothing was too much trouble, even the receptionist came to see our dog and brought her a dish of water!
The test drive was a dream, with all controls/features explained before the drive. A final purchase decision was made not just based on the car, but also on the whole experience at the centre.
Having initially arranged a pickup for 2 weeks later, I changed the goalposts at short notice and asked if I could pick up a week early. Dan was up to the challenge, despite literally only having a couple of hours to pull everything together (having been on a course up to the Friday lunchtime). Everything on the actual pickup day was perfect - we were thoroughly delighted and our expectations exceeded.

I've had two cars from this dealer and found the service to be impeccable. I dealt with Jon on the finance and he did a fantastic job securing me the finance I wanted at the price point I was after. Once I had the vehicles, 10 months on, I had a question on cherished plates. He helped me with the process and even sent me Porsche Portsmouth number plates. To me, that's how you judge service. Once the sale is done, if you are still looked-after incredibly well, you know you have found a great dealer who understands the value of a long-term relationship. Highly recommended.
