Still waiting for this centre to arrange a test drive for me. Sent request online, contacted by pushy sales guy (Dan) trying to push his own agenda on stock cars, completely ignoring what I was asking for. When he realised I didn’t want used, I wanted new, never heard from him again. Well guys, you just missed out on selling me a new Cayenne S electric, because I went to mid Sussex branch who were brilliant start to finish. Tough luck guys, listen to your customer, read the room and you may do better in business, the camel coat sales days are long gone tell Dan.

Very disappointing with Porsche Centre Portsmouth. Firstly when i wanted to buy the car i had to chase up as nobody had made contact after i waited 6 hours for a phone call back. Then after ordering the car, i got a email several days later saying they were just trying to arrange purchasing the car from the owner, i waited a couple more days and decided enough was enough, however whilst writing my cancellation email i received an email to say they had just sent out a delivery request and were waiting for bids back, this is a week after ordering the car, surely this should have been done immediately. I continued with my request to cancel the order as i was fed up with waiting. The dealer resisted the car within minutes of my email but i haven't heard anything from them. I know it is disappointing when somebody cancels, but this doesn't mean you shouldn't have the courtesy to respond.

I've used a few Porsche centres with mixed results. This Portsmouth branch has been exceptional, and worth the extra drive time to get to. Great customer service, honest work and not pushy to upsell. Also worth stating they were notably cheaper than the close to London options for servicing. Would recommend strongly.

Purchased a new Porsche Macan EV in November 2024. It developed persistent faults within weeks (in total the Porache had more than 50 faults within the first six months) and, despite numerous repair attempts where one issue was “fixed” only for another to appear, I had no option but to reject the vehicle in May 2025. Porsche replaced it with a new Macan Electric EV in September 2025. This vehicle has been just as troubled: connectivity failures, non-functioning speakers, a cruise control fault that causes the brakes to unexpectedly slam on, and a complete electronic system failure that left the car totally inoperable - at which point a member of staff told me the model’s software simply can’t support what the car is being asked to do (he explained it as a 2026 iPhone using 2016 software. I formally rejected this second vehicle in February 2026. Rather than Porsche Portsmouth accepting their clear legal obligation to refund what I’ve actually paid for the defective Porsche, they spent months arguing with me to reduce the amount of money they owed me under statute. When I challenged their low ball offer, the matter was passed to their legal team, who then went silent, completely missed the Ombudsman’s deadline to respond to complaints, and only started to meaningfully engage after I sent an email to Porsche UK’s CEO. In the end, I was forced to accept less than I was legally owed and entitled to under Consumer Law - simply to bring the matter to a close rather than continue paying for a vehicle I couldn’t use. Two faulty EV vehicles in a row would be bad enough, but the impression I was left with is of a dealership that negotiates down its statutory obligations (to its own benefit) rather than simply meeting them. Come the end of the process (almost six months of arguing), I felt exhausted, drained, defeated and entirely disrespected and undervalued as a customer. I wouldn’t recommend this dealership based on my experience. I’ve since bought a Range Rover instead.
