I bought a practicky new car Its a vw polo 1.0 DSG gear box This car came from Altringham The gear box has a fault its rattly so one of the nechanics whent on a drive with me i heard gear box fattling but he says not this is what you get now vw have your monney dont care so ile be going elswhere in futuer this isnt on service is crap now communication waranty work is put back for paying customers

Not enough staff customers stand waiting for 10 minutes before being acknowledged. To be told your keys in the lock box - after saying would prefer to speak to a staff member. Guy who served me told me wrong bay that car was parked in. Glad my service is complete and I don’t need to return anytime soon! Hopefully never as coming here is a chore! Crap management couldn’t even be bothered to respond to an email from February which I sent for some reason my car had been booked in for work which I didn’t book in, & crap customer service. Massively fallen out with VW branches will be taking my custom elsewhere for my next vehicle!

Just bought a new car from here. The sales representative there was called Osman, he made my life so much more easier. Considering I was abroad when my car had arrived, he made it possible for me to collect once I was back. Overall very nice and down to earth person. An amazing branch and can’t fault it in any way.

Very impersonal experience as dropped keys in a locker function at the front door. Arriving at the store, there was no where to park so had to dump my car in the middle of the road. Once my service was done, didn’t receive the video which I’ve had in the past going over the car, unless you’ve atopped doing that, and handover of keys again was very impersonal.

Appointment time was changed from 09-15 to 10am without notifying me. I booked my MO T on the 9th February and asked for an appointment at 08-30and was told the first available time was 09-15. I was only told of changed time when I brought the car in on the 10th March.
Once they started to do the MOT, it was done within the hour and our car valeted.

You fell well short of your mission "..to deliver outstanding customer service, whether you're buying a new or used vehicle or returning for servicing...". I spoke to 3 colleagues on separate occasions before my service, twice about the proposed brake fluid change. On each occasion I asked whether it was necessary as I had only driven 4900 miles in 2 years since the car was new. Each time they said that the service team would check at the service and would contact me during the service if they deemed it to be. I arrived at 09:30 and used the automatic check in, which I had never used before. I completed the form and left my key and returned home. By 15:30 I hadn't heard anything so I phoned and spoke to someone who said they would enquire about progress, and put me on hold. The phone system then rang again on the same number and I was put through to someone in Chelmsford who told me to redial. I did and then ended up in a cycle of three times having to select no.2 to enquire. I then phoned again and spoke to another person who said they would ask the service team to call me back. No-one did. I received a text message at 16:13 to say the vehicle was ready. When I arrived and used the check out facility it said it wasn't ready. I then spoke to one of the service team who said it was. I returned home with my car. Once home, I then received a Vehicle Health Check email at 16:46 saying that the brake fluid change was "urgent". It clearly hadn't been done, and no-one contacted me during the service to say it was urgent. On speaking with a service adviser the day after it transpired it wasn't urgent at all because of the low mileage. Very poor communication systems are operating in Group 1 and it left me feeling frustrated and disappointed. I never had this problem when it was Inchcape, in the 9 years I have been taking my cars there for services.
