Staff very helpful. Only slight problem was dash cam was left on the passenger seat and wire left dangling on the windscreen after MOT.

Car was called in for a recall, booked it in but waited 3 months as this was the next appointment. Not great seen as the driver door randomly opened by itself whilst stationary. Booked a courtesy car and had to wait over an hour before work as it was being used by a sales rep and he hadn't come in yet. Courtesy car wasn't on par with my current vehicle, in size or the fact it was manual, not automatic, plus the engine management light came on the first day. Was later advised it was a historic issue with that specific car, if so why wasn't it fixed and not given to a customer. Was advised would have my car for 2 days, on the 3rd day after hearing nothing called and was advised I would get a call back twice. No one called back. On the 4th day had to chase again and was told it would be ready in half an hour, again no one called to advise this I had to chase again. Asked for a puncture to be repaired whilst it was in, when i collected the car it hadn't been actioned and I had a flat tire so had to then sort that out which should have been checked over before it was given back to me. Overall not a great experience from a customers point of view being honest.

I am a long standing customer of the Bolton dealership and recently took my VW Polo in for its annual service and an MOT. The man who greeted me on the service desk was friendly, helpful and extremely knowledgeable. He listened to everything I said carefully, and advised me of a timescale for collection. On collection of the car all the work undertaken was explained to me and the car presented back to me having been cleaned. I was however surprised that the mechanic had recommended the wipers to be changed when they worked well and the car has only done 8000 miles. This caused my car to pass its MOT but with minor defects.

Warranty repair, recovered into VW Bolton before 9am. First phone call was 15:30 to get more details. Email and text asking to book the vehicle in for 2 days time. Was kept updated, but warranty took 5 days to authorise. Car was not washed or clean when returned to me. Only 1 suspension spring done so had the car back 2 days (not completed 100 miles) and the other side snapped. AA advised battery had been jumped, was not told of this. Currently on week 3 of not having my car.
