Communication throughout was unacceptable. I had to repeatedly chase for updates myself, and it was almost impossible to get through to the service department by phone calls were consistently cut off and never answered. The only form of contact I received was via SMS, and even those messages were not always responded to.
After waiting over five weeks, the MOT which had been promised as part of the work still was not completed. This added further frustration to what was already a very disappointing experience.
Overall, this has been quite possibly the worst customer experience I have ever had with any service provider, and it has seriously affected my confidence in VW Stockport’s ability to manage repairs and communicate with customers.
