I found the staff in the Stockport service department to be very helpful, professional and friendly. (Dave dealt with me, I think). I was offered a drink straight away and because I needed to work whilst my car was being serviced I was offered an office to work from; which was a great help. I was also given advice on updates on my car and with using the VW ap which I was grateful for. Thank you. :)

I have booked my car for an inspection of excessive noises from rear wheels area and MOT. I provided instructions on how to reproduce the issue, including a video demonstrating the problem and how to recreate it. I also highlighted multiple times the necessity of the car being dry and in dry conditions.
Unfortunately, after nearly a week, I discovered that the car was left outside during the whole week of rains. After speaking with a member of staff, I realised that the video and instructions I provided had not been viewed by the staff and the issue with my car had not been resolved.
We were assured the car will be left indoor for night few timed but it wasn’t (verified on dashcam).
The day before collecting the car we agreed to show the issue when we will come next day early morning and asked to keep car indoor for the night. We were promised it will be kept for us indoor but next day when we come the car was parked outside in the rain and was excused by staff for forgetting to park it indoor.
Consequently, I was left without a car for a week and my problem remains unresolved. I had to wait for dry weather to return for another visit to show the issue (when it happens) to service staff.
Additionally, on the MOT, staff found an issue with breather pipe that I had requested to be fixed under warranty. Asked few times for status updated and were told that authorisation to repair it under warranty hasn’t come yet from VW warranties department. When we were collecting our car after one week it appeared that the warranty claim had not been submitted at all…
