The Defender 130 is offered in X-Dynamic SE and X-Dynamic HSE trims, both designed to make the most of its added space and versatility. X-Dynamic SE provides a strong balance of comfort and capability, while HSE adds richer materials and more advanced technology.

X and Outbound give the Defender 130 two distinct directions. X focuses on premium passenger comfort and flagship specification, while Outbound is centred on load space, practicality and expedition-ready usability. Both benefit from the Defender 130’s added size and presence.

The Defender 130 V8 combines the added space of the larger Defender with stronger performance and greater road presence. It offers impressive passenger practicality while introducing a more powerful and confident character.

Terrain Response 2

The Defender 130 uses Terrain Response 2 to complement its greater passenger space and carrying capacity, ensuring the largest Defender remains every bit as capable as its smaller counterparts. By automatically adjusting traction settings, drivetrain responses and throttle calibration, the system helps the vehicle maintain control across mud, gravel, snow and uneven ground. This becomes especially valuable when travelling fully loaded, towing or covering long distances where conditions may change unexpectedly.
