Regular service checks are needed throughout your car’s life to keep it running at optimum performance. Keeping your Škoda's service history up-to-date with regular checks to ensure that it stays in top condition. A number of safety, efficiency and performance checks are undertaken during a service, helping you keep you and your family safe when out on the road. Also, if you keep your Škoda service log book up to date, you’ll maintain the resale value over time.

Less than 10,000 miles a year - every 12 months

For those who typically go on shorter journeys in towns and cities, we recommend regular servicing every 12 months or every 9,000 miles, whatever comes first. Going on regular shorter trips tends to put a strain on your engine due to the frequent stopping and starting, meaning servicing and maintenance is needed more often.

More than 10,000 miles a year - every two years

If you tend to go on longer journeys on motorways or dual carriageways, you’ll need less frequent servicing as this type of driving is easier on your engine. So, you should get your Škoda serviced every two years or 10,000 miles. But be sure to keep an eye on your tyres, replacing them if the tread begins to reach the legal limit.
