This was my second visit to Mercedes-Benz of Derby to rectify ongoing condensation in a rear light cluster. During booking, I was advised there was an open recall, which they agreed to address. However, after receiving the online Tracker link, I noticed they had logged my vehicle incorrectly as my previous car rather than my current one. Furthermore, they performed unrequested health checks on the vehicle. When a workshop technician was named, I sent him photographs of the condensation in the rear light cluster. He replied with a sheet headed "Head Lamp TIPS Case." When I politely reminded him that the issue was the rear light—not the front headlight—he simply stated: "We have to follow exactly the same process. There is no misting or condensation/water ingress this morning at the point of inspection." It is a pity he did not point that out in his first email. While I readily accept that condensation is not always visible (as the photos I submitted were taken about a month apart), the intermittent presence clearly indicates an underlying issue. I do not have the confident in Mercedes-Benz of Derby to rectify the problem.

I own two Mercedes, and both of them have the exact same juddering issue when approaching junctions. Despite taking them both to the dealership multiple times, and even having a senior engineer with 15 years of experience look at them, they keep saying, 'No problem detected.' When I first got the cars, there was no issue, but now, even under warranty, they refuse to fix it. I know there's a problem, and I expect a proper resolution, not just dismissals.
