Very poor experience from this garage, car went in for warranty work which they had the vehicle for 4 days. On picking up the vehicle I was told that the issue had been fixed, jump in the car checked myself for the fault which is still present and not fixed at all so the vehicle needs to be booked back in. When I complained about this I was fobbed off which the service department saying that it had been checked and the issue had been resolved on testing the vehicle. Also my car had been left unlocked outside overnight again no apology I was just told that the update to the vehicle might have caused the app to show the vehicle was unlocked, but they did say the area was very safe with cameras and bars to prevent a vehicle being stolen! I think they missed the point that the vehicle had been left unlocked outside with personal items still in the vehicle.

Must admit Ben who I was dealing with was amazing. But when I booked for a DSG oil and filter change they don’t change the filter then decide that they can change the filter after they have put fresh oil in the car. This is awful clearly no one understands what happens in this circumstance. I could have done the work myself however I wanted to have the VW stamp for my vehicle but serves me right will never go back to group 1 or VW for work ever again easier just to do it myself at least then I know it’s actually been done right. Now there is swawth in the fresh gear oil causing the clutch to slip. Absolutely atrocious never use a main dealer is the key thing here just go to a reputable specialist who charge a lot less.

Good working environment upstairs if your car is on a service-while-you-wait basis. Friendly, professional and you get your car back clean (inside and out) mode. Reasonable prices and free beverages + wifi and TV. Comfortable surroundings and close to a bus service and The Devon Motel.

I was disappointed to find that yet again my air con fault is still not fixed despite numerous previous visits and investigations.
Was also kept waiting to collect car 20min beyond the time they stated would be ready

Initially, when purchasing a vehicle Nothing is too much trouble. However, promises made at the outset were not met and trying to make contact once in possession of the vehicle was almost impossible. Phones not answered, or when they are and callback promised, nothing happens. Emails not acknowledged or replied to. Very poor customer service after initial sale. The car is great!

Disgraceful service. New car bought a few months ago has a leak and water into the boot which is causing mould and we ended up in hospital with our baby who had breathing issues. VW reluctantly fit me in this month but originally wanted me to wait 3 more months, until I pushed for something sooner. Still haven’t found cause of leak, I drove an hour at the arranged collection time on my lunch break in a terrible loan car and arrived to be told that my car was not ready or fixed and that someone should have rang me but failed to do so. No end date in sight for my new car to be fixed, which I am paying monthly for and not able to use, no better loan cards available. Very poor service after you buy a new car.
