An alternative solution to van ownership, Ford Contract Hire is a contractual agreement that allows you to rent a commercial vehicle for an arranged amount of time. If you don’t want to own your van, Ford Contract Hire could be the solution you’re looking for. VAT registered businesses may be eligible to claim some or all of the VAT of the monthly instalments of their Ford lease.

Ford Finance Lease is a plan where you sell the commercial vehicle at the end of the contractual agreement. The proceeds from the sale are then given to you, and you may wish to use the money towards the deposit for another vehicle. With Ford Finance Lease, you pay an advanced rental deposit followed by fixed monthly instalments. You will be given the option to reduce your monthly instalments by choosing a Ford Finance Lease agreement with a balloon option.

Ford Contract Hire allows you to pay an advance rental followed by fixed monthly instalments. At the end of the contractual agreement, you must return the vehicle to Ford Lease. There is no option to own the commercial vehicle at the end of your Ford lease.

Your fixed monthly rental payments will depend on the terms of your agreement. These include:

• Length of the agreement - choose from 24 to 60-month contract terms
• Annual mileage
• The advance rental amount
• The Ford commercial vehicle you choose

When your Ford lease comes to an end, simply return the vehicle to us. If you would like a new van, our Ford Commercial Specialists will provide you with a new finance quote. Ford Finance Lease allows you to rent a Ford commercial vehicle by paying an advance rental fee followed by fixed monthly instalments. If you choose a lease with a balloon option, your monthly instalments will be lower.

Your fixed monthly rental will be determined by the following:

• Agreement length - choose from 24 to 60-month contractual terms
• The amount of the advance rental
• The Ford vehicle you want to drive
• If you have chosen the Finance Lease with Balloon option

At the end of the agreement, you are responsible for selling the commercial vehicle on behalf of Ford Lease. You can choose from one of these options:

• Sell the vehicle to a third party
• Agree to a part exchange with Group 1 Ford, who will purchase the vehicle from Ford Lease

You do have the option to extend your agreement by paying a nominal peppercorn rental of £100+VAT per year.
